The service, appointments, and overall style of the Lodge were impeccable. I felt like a VIP the entire time. Very magical place.

What a spectacular resort! The rooms are unbelievably beautiful. The service is also fantastic. I'd love to visit again, as it is pure luxury. Don't come here expecting a young crowd though.

Loved the room, view was stunning in the morning!! Shade on the patio during the day!! Only problem is the hurricane brought up a lot of broken shells, can't really use the chair and umbrella rental when you have a child cause there isn't a place for him to play in the sand. Walked the beach outside our room but again tons of broken shells :( cut my foot on one (small). It's not their fault of course just sucks for the first time being in Florida :(

My wife and I initially stayed at The Lodge and Club for the first time on 8/26/2017. We drove four hours from our home in Sarasota to stay here for our anniversary. We have been so impressed, I just booked our 3rd trip back since our initial trip a month ago! This has become our new go-to-destination for weekend retreats after a long work week.
I have stayed at hotels and resorts around the world, many of them for twice as much as The Lodge and Club, yet the The Lodge and Club is my favorite place of them all.
The service is the best I have ever had in any consumer experience. While the beach is not the best one I have ever seen (Siesta Key), the room is not the largest, the pool not the biggest. . . all of these things are exceptional and when combined with the staffs hospitality make this my favorite place I have ever stayed at!
I am not one to write reviews. In order for me to do so, something has to be exceptional. It needs to be something done so well that I have to tell my friends and family about it. It needs to be so good that I want other people to experience what I just did. That is how The Lodge and Club is for me.
If anyone has a negative opinion of this hotel, especially beyond an isolated incident, I would seriously question the author. We all know there is always that 1% you cannot make happy and I would just file that review in that category.
This place is incredible, book it, I just did for the third time in a month!response / report this review -

Wow! Just AMAZING! Let me start by saying this is definitely a 5 diamond restaurant, no detail is left behind. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Valet staff met us once and new us by name immediately, same for bar staff. Front desk staff, room service staff, housekeeping are all about hospitality. HOTEL SNOBS, I bet you cannot find anything wrong about this place!!!
The hotel room had a fireplace and the absolutely BEST viewMy suggestion is to stay in room 426!!!! Trust me!
The food was delicious, the drinks were great!
Entertainment was phenomenal (blues and jazz) Friday night.
What am I missing? Not sure but I will definitely make this a 1-2 time a year spot.
My husband and I were talking about it being better than a cruise.
My husband called room service and asked where the ice machine was located. The man said he would be right up to show him. He was there in like 30 secondswhen the ice machine was 25 feet from the door. I mean he could for just explained over the phone, but no! Like I said
Service, service, service!
You will not be disappointed, and if you are somehow then you should just never leave your house because you're miserable.
Seriously, book this place! And again, ask for room 426 (second floor) or 326 (first floor) if that one is already taken.
P.s. I just checked availability for Labor Day weekend, yes THIS weekend, because we want to go back. However, the prices I believe are a little bit higher due to the holiday. :( BUT we WILL be back!response / report this review -

Fantastic place to relax, play sports, enjoy the ocean, wonderful spa and/or pamper yourself. Great rooms with view of either the beach or golf courses. Spacious bathrooms, very pleasant, attentive, professional staff. Numerous places to eat and/or enjoy an adult beverage are all top notch. I was impressed!

The Lodge & Club is the best hotel on the first coast with a great location on the beach with pools, nice workout facility and upscale rooms that overlook the ocean. I like it better than the pv Inn and Club for it's smaller size and fewer people. Enjoy!!

The lodge has a pleasant atmosphere. The Oasis bar in combination with the private beach make a great pair. The lodge is one of my number one choices for a Beach vacation.

We've eaten in the restaurant and used beach facilities a number of times. We have no complaints. The staff is friendly, and the beach rental umbrellas and chairs are great. The food at the restaurant has gotten an upgrade recently, and is generally good beach fare.

Beautiful! Incredible staff! Everyone goes above and beyond. A must stay resort! The rooms look brand new. Bring you're family or your entire work; this is paradise!
