If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels you can check them out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Pretty good for the price. Moderately hard to find off of I-95 so use google maps. Room was clean and staff seemed nice and helpful. Plenty of towels, TV worked fine, plenty of channels. Rate off of Expedia was very nice. This was just a one night stopover hotel for us.

Parking is lighted but oddly the lights were off when we left early around 6:30am and it wasn't light out.

Easy check in and karge spacious room. Hotel a bit aged and shows wear and tear throughout facility. Staff super nice. Failed to service our room first night there. Renovation under way so could be better in a few months.

I have to start by saying customer service here was amazing! The staff was really great and kind. I have no complaints there. The hotel is pretty dirty right now because of all the work they are doing and the plumbing is a bit sketchy and we could completely hear our neighbor's conversations through the vents.

While the hotel is fairly nice, the pool looks great, service is okay,my only complaint is the restaurantThe food is mediocre, tastes like microwavable food that comes in a tray. When someone orders chicken Alfredo no chicken,it should be assumed they don't want chicken shreds in their pasta.the garlic bread last time was fine, but this time all they said was sorry we're out! Didn't offer me a substitute or anything. So all I was left with was a small portion of mediocre noodles.

Pretty hotel. Check-in took a long time even though there were 2 people and 2 guests. Asked for towels-never got them. Mildew in the shower. Sink handle broken and came off when you turned it on/off. Complimentary breakfast was great.

The Red Lion Hotel Jacksonville was a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that the sleep number system on the bed wasn't working. The staff was friendly and the hotel restaurant served me a very delicious hamburger. The room that I attended a class in was also very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised! This was a nice hotel with clean rooms. The room has clean carpet and an updated bed. It has a restaurant downstairs that has a wonderful staff, and a breakfast buffet with healthy options, too. The only drawback is that the hotel has absolutely no view. It is surrounded by other hotels, and one of those are under construction. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay, and would possibly stay there again.. if I don't stay at the beach.

Would I ever come back? Maybe if I'm feeling generous. This hotel has its cons but also has its pros.

    Cons:
    • Hotel guest wifi is very inconsistent and is dropped every couple minutes and sometimes lays unusable. Contacted the front desk about issue and nothing was fixed
    • You can hear your neighbors clearly at night as if there weren't walls there in the first place.
    • The beds happen to be sleep number, but don't be fooled, as to work the remote is difficult and not user friendly. A family member ACCIDENTALLY came across how to work it, of which I still don't understand how to do.
    • The fitness center is not very big with only a few machines and couple dumbbells sets.
    • The lights above the mirror in the bathrooms give off lots of heat, so extended periods of time in front of it can get quite hot.

    Pros:
    • The breakfast is decent with not many problems at all
    • The pillows are actually quite comfortable
    • The waitresses are very nice and take care of you
    • The hotel is right next to a Dave and Buster's
    • The pool is okay size and remains warm

Overall, I might come back but this is not a high likelihood. To me, the cons outweigh the pros so therefore i give it a rating of two stars, but it definitely wasn't a terrible experience for one star nor was it good enough to receive three stars.

ice place, nice people. We came from PA for my daughters graduation, we stayed for 7 nights 8 days. Nice pool, great breakfast, free coffee and cookies in the lobby all day and most of the night. Nice room. The staff whether in the restaurant, maintenance, house cleaning or the front desk they are all great people! Worth the money, every cent.

First, let's say that we would stay here again. Overall, it is a nice place to stay. It's not top notch, but it will do. The Sleep Number beds need to be replaced. The mattresses were hard as a rock even when we tried to reduce the firmness. The pillows were good if you like very soft pillows.

Most of the staff was friendly. No smoking hotel, but I guess everyone, including staff, could sit by the pool and smoke. Pool had leaves and cigarette butts in it.

The buffet was $9.95, if it was not included in your nightly rate. You could order items or eat the buffet which was decent. It was your typical food from the hotels that offer free hot breakfast with additional items added like ham, breakfast casserole, real grits(not instant), breakfast burrito, pancakes, etc. Today, they had delicious fresh fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, & pineapple)yummy!! You still have to cook your own waffles. They have a waitress that is the hostess and cashier, but I must say that she did her job very well. Our glasses were never empty, and she constantly checked on us. Now, the curtain that separated the kitchen and the buffet area was not enough to shield the cook's conversation. They were cursing and having some adult conversation. That needs to be toned down.

I read in the reviews about the cookie plate being empty and that was very true. We didn't get one cookie the entire stay. The plate was never refreshed. Why not move it? We asked if more cookies were going to be put out. Tiffany checked and said she was told that they threw out the cookies and would put more out in the morning. This morning, there were no cookies out. As I checked out, I saw a full plate of cookies in a room behind the front desk. Hmmmare the cookies for the employees? The excuse of the front desk person being busy would not work, because why would the person who brought them out, not just put them on the table for guests???

Again, overall, our stay was good and we would stay again. The hotel next door was much worst than this one.
