Th is hotel was in a great location. There were many food choices around it in walking distance. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean.

While this seems like a nice new hotel in the middle of downtown Carrboro, their wedding block managers are terrible. The Franklin offered the same price, and is a much nicer hotel.

They were extremely inflexible when it came to pricing for our group, were unresponsive to emails, and never followed up on any requests. (The Franklin did). We had tried to set up our reservation block a year ahead of time. They said we could not reserve the weekend till the football schedule was released. Reasonable. But never contacted us after it was released, and still charged us as if it was homecoming weekend.

I wish we had cancelled our block here so that all of our wedding guests could have had a better experience and been all in one place.

2nd stay - The hot breakfast and staff are very good. Room is just like you’d expect. Perfect location; would love to give 5 stars, but they fall short each time. First time, a broken door we had a hard time getting in and this time one elevator was out, which caused some issues for everyone when it got crowded.

Positive-- bathtub has hand shower, hand rails and grip bottom tub
Needful considerations-- should get options from those using accessibility rooms when designing them. Bathroom floor is slippery for those limited mobility. Tub needs to have seat as well as handrails. Room is not
Big enough for easy access for walker or chair. Besides having to walk the perimeter of the hotel to get to elevator, I get the feeling that people with disabilities are put away from status quo . Can't help to think they are not wanted. We found hair on tub tile and medicine on floor not ours.

The room was comfortable and extremely clean and the staff was among the most friendly I've ever encountered at a hotel. They seemed more like B and B owners who took guest comfort as much more than a job.

Room, great. People, exceptionally friendly. Location, excellent. It's an ideal hotel if you want to be in walking distance of a lot of nightlife and restaurants, and it's in general, a great hotel. The room is fantastic, beds and shower are top notch. The parking is a bit wonky, but that's alright.

This was my second stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites at Carborro and honestly it was so nice! The rooms are so nice and the amenities are very nice as well. I have to point out an exceptional employee, Marcus, who worked so hard every time I saw him to fit our needs and those of other guests around us. He was kind, helpful, and good at his job. I enjoyed this stay very much!

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was warm and delicious. Parking is on the top two levels of the adjacent parking garage and costs $10. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was quiet, even with next door room being occupied.

We had booked multiple rooms (including one suite) in order to get adjoining rooms for a stay with family. We confirmed the adjoining rooms multiple times but the hotel was not able to provide them and could not accommodate any changes, even after speaking to the manager. They did not have the requested crib in the room and the room was also missing the luggage rack. In addition, our king suite smelled musty and had wet carpet near the air conditioner. In fairness the rest of the hotel property seemed to be in good condition including the pool. The front desk staff was helpful as well. The hotel is situated on a busy street so if you have small kids it would be quieter in rooms that are not overlooking Main St.

The manager here is incredible. He will make sure your stay is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised with the level of cleanliness and how much they offer. Breakfast was amazing and different every day. The pool was peaceful and there were nice cabanas and a fire to relax by. There were fresh cookies at check in! The best part is the way the staff treat the guests. I stay in hotels fairly often, and I have never experienced this level of hospitality. I was on a work trip, but it made me want to come back on vacation!
