Good continental breakfast as a plus, nice locations with groceries stores and restaurants in a walking distance.

Great stay. Excellent friendly staff, super clean rooms and hotel in general. Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Good coffee available all day in the room off the lobby. Only about 20 minutes fro SAN airport, easy to get to.

Enjoyed my stay here. The price was great, staff was great, free breakfast (eggs, sausage, etc), my room looked brand new and clean every day, and free parking, fitness center and pool. What more do you need?

I stayed here last month and I am still singing their praises. The staff was amazing and the location is perfect. A member of our party accidently left his camera on the ice machine. We were out sight-seeing when he realized it. I called the hotel and they immediately located the camera and even placed it in his room so that he would not have to worry about it.
The food was great. Breakfast was continental style and the fruit was fresh everyday. We had a great selection of hot foods and plenty of space to relax before heading out for the day. There were a few conferences going on at the time, but the hotel never felt crowded.
We were close to the beaches, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. This place is truly a gem. We will be back!response / report this review -

What a wonderful hotel! Nessled in-between so many places to visit, as well as important places like the airport, the Hampton Inn in Del Mar is the place to stay! They are close to so many good eateries and shopping, have the best Complementary Breakfast, and the staff is always happy to help you! I LOVE coming home to the Hampton Inn Del Mar! I cannot recommend it more!

Hotel meets most of my needs, it's clean, breakfast is free and location is okay. Rooms are good and standard for a Hampton inn. On the down side: Room prices vary a lot from day to day (sometimes out of budget), breakfast remains very basic, and it's not on the beach).

Would have like to have more meat selection at breakfast. Surprising suite layouts, a lot more space than I thought. Would stay again if we had the opportunity. Would recommend fir business travelers.

Staying at the Hampton Inn Del Mar was a great choice. The staff at the front desk made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to provide us information about places we wanted to see. Our room was so nice! The housekeeping staff did an amazing job and changed our sheets and coverlet daily - no bed bugs here 😊. The breakfast is better than what you will get at nearby restaurants thank you Susie! We absolutely will be back!!!!!!!

Our room was located on the 4th floor (room 408). Everything was very neat and clean, with everything functioning as it should. The hotel was nice and quiet, and though not extravagant or extremely luxurious, looked well managed. The staff were very kind when we asked for more shampoo and conditioner, and were very generous with the amount. The cleaning ladies were also very kind, leaving everything spotless (even though we left a big mess of the place the night before, since we were just four high school boys in the room), leaving nothing unchecked and even folding up the end of the toilet paper rolls and placing our toothbrushes and toothpaste nicely on a fresh towel for us. The hotel also provides complementary combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, razors, shaving cream, and other necessities (according to their sign in the bathroom) so even if one of us were to forget to bring something, it would have been okay. Overall a great experience!

Overall the place was fine. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was fine, nothing exciting, but we'll stocked. Nothing fancy, but fine.
