Great place in every way EXCEPT for the sliding "barn doors" on the bathroom. What idiot came up with that? No lock, no privacy and my three old nearly lost his fingers twice.
Otherwise a great spot, quiet, good breakfast, nice pool.response / report this review -

Nice place. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was way crowded so we ended up going elsewhere. The food looked good and there seemed to be a decent variety but I didn't taste any. Things aren't far from here. We were able to walk up to city Creek and temple square just fine even with a couple little kids.

The Hampton Inn was the worst stay that I have experienced in several years of 10+ stays a year. The SLC, UT. location needs to step up the cleaning as the room was fine but the facilities and pool aren't getting the required attention in cleaning or operations. Fridge but no microwave? 3 Star hotel..Come on. The attendant had to run from somewhere to assist me at the desk which started things off balance and it all just seemed to get worse from there.

Beautiful hotel! The room was wonderful: stylish, modern, great view, and clean. Check in was easy with the Hilton Honors echeck-in feature. Staff was nice. Only downside (which isn't even the hotel's fault), is that there are a LOT of tourists here. Wasn't much privacy outside of the room, even late at night. Breakfast was pretty crowded, so just forewarning! Other than that, everything was perfect.

I've been to this Hotel a handful of times but not since the remodel that's happened over the last two years. I was very impressed with the new room as well as how clean it was. My room was exceptionally clean. Very happy with our stay.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but the room was nice, well laid out and very clean. Shower had plenty of water pressure, but doesn't get hot, just warm enough to be comfortable. Iron is nice for this type of hotel. Barn door for the bathroom was a cool touch.

We had originally planned to stay at the nearby Econo Lodge, but after seeing the conditions it was in we decided to stay at this hotel instead. The difference was like night and day. The reception was friendly and reminded me of the discounts I could get using my AAA membership. The rooms were clean and spacious. There is a 24 hour pool, hot tub, and fitness room (with complementary headphones) available to guests, and the breakfast included with your stay has a decent amount of options to choose from.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Good location with access to bars/restaurants nearby. Had a small issue when reserving with the "weekender getaway" package. The staff had never heard of it and had to look it up online themselves to see what was included. It was resolved quickly.

The hotel is very clean and modern. The rooms have all of the amenities you would expect, including usb charging ports and multiple outlets on the bedside tables. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance of two shopping malls and downtown Salt Lake City. There are fantastic options for entertainment, and dozens of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very nice and appears to be newly remodeled. Our room was very clean and provided all the amenities. For being located on a busy street corner, you can't hear the road at all. Continental breakfast was good, they provided your typical hotel breakfast treats. They also have a small snack suite that has several food and drink items for purchase. The hotel is in walking distance to several restraunts and shopping centers.

Fantastic from start to start - clean, modern, all staff very friendly - room and bed amazing! To top if off you got a take away bagged lunch on the way out. Breakfast was also very high quality.

Excellent service at the Front Desk. They really earned that name. The hotel is conveniently located and it has free parking. Also not to forget about the free breakfast And no, the mattress is NOT quite free but comfortable :-)

This hotel had everything we were looking for. Close to downtown, indoor pool and hot tub and very updated. We were staying in one of the suites and were very surprised with the quality of the room. The front desk woman even gave us some chocolate when she found out we recently got married and were taking a short honeymoon from Idaho. Will definitely be back.
