Rooms were nice and clean, beds were quite comfortable and warm. The continental breakfast, however, was woefully lacking. It was only barely adequate, and offered no proteins at all.

If I could leave a 0 star, I'd certainly do it. I've never been in a 3 straight hotel or so they call themselves in a more deplorable, dirty state. You have a TV, a fridge and a microwave but you can only plug in one of them at the time. You have a phone, but it's dead, won't work to call the receptionist. You have a shower and a sink, but no water. Literally. You have a maid sign but not maid service. If this hotel was free, it would still be too much! Absolutely ridiculous and depressing.

I was actually expecting better things from this hotel, but I suppose given how affordable it is it has met my expectations. They have clearly done some renovations, with new TVs, refrigerator, microwave, and very comfortable memory foam mattresses. However where this hotel lets down is in the finer details where all they need is another coat of paint or maybe just better housekeeping so that when you get into the bathroom you aren't met with a handful of black hairs on the counter.

It is a good simple motel. However, they only provide a small breakfast like waffles, oatmeal, bagels, and toast. My friends and I stayed in 107. Whenever the above room got done taking a bath, water would start coming up from our tub. Plus the plumbing pipes are loud.

Nice and affordable. Breakfast was meh, but it was crowded so probably not much to go around, they did have one waffle machine everybody used. Room had plenty of space, fridge and microwave available. Good for an overnight stay!

THIEVES!!! I'd give it no stars if I could. I rented a room & ended up leaving with some friends when I left, I made sure I gathered all my things, I put them in a little box & left.. we came back the next day and for some reason the housekeepers felt the need to take my things out of the box & put them in a bag when I picked my things up I come to find out my charger & one of my outfits is gone.. I tried telling the manager over the phone but he just kept talking about the lost & found but I had already had someone check it just in case.. I keep trying to explain what happened & he continues to talk over me.. then when he finally gets quiet I try to explain again only to find out he's not even listening to me he's nowhere near the phone.. 😡😡👊🏼 this is ridiculous!! & this isn't the 1st time I've had an issue either.. I paid a $100 deposit which was supposed to be returned within a week 2 weeks later I'm having to come all the way back to the hotel to get my deposit back & they wanted to argue with me about it.. i had to pull out my bank statements in order to get it back.. such an inconvenience!!

Good place for the price! The bed was comfy and the bathroom/shower was great. That was really all I needed after driving to SLC from CA. I wouldn’t give it a 5 star though because the room was a little dated and some of the furniture looks on rough shape.

I definitely would consider this inn again when passing through! Thanks!

It was an overall good overnight place. It was cheap, and it had a comfortable mattress, which was my top priority. The place is a little old, and the biggest complaint I have is that the TV in our room was an old CRT. But overall, it met my needs of a comfy bed I could use for the night. I probably wouldn't choose The Metropolitan Inn if I were staying for longer than one or two nights, though.

The beds were good. Not the best, not the worst. It is very dated by it's decor, even had a CRT TV. The bathroom is not enough room for two people to get ready in the morning and the toliets was extremely loud. We only stayed for the one night for an event we had the next day. It's good for a cheap one night, but not if you are wanting a nice trip, especially over multiple days.

The hotel was very reasonably priced. Not only did they have a continental breakfast, they had a coffee maker in the room. Their temperpedic beds were amazing.They are located very closely by two convenient stations, which was very helpful. The only downside was it was already hitting 90 degrees and the pool was empty still.

I read the reviews about needing updated furniture, but it was fun to have something that wasn't generic and cold. So clean! Definitely need to rethink smoking area. Other customers after midnight smoking and talking and laughing outside our door. I was looking for clean affordability, and I found it.

Really professional and friendly staff, clean, quiet rooms. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that the facility is dated, and does not have all the amenities of newer establishments. It's a nice budget option with comfy beds.
I would not hesitate to stay there again.
