The hotel needs a renovation. Bedrooms are small, the window does not open and are dirty (bur the bathroom is good). The gardens need some care and the gym needs a seriously renovation. The pool and the recreation area are cool. It's very pratice to walk to the parks (and the path is beautiful). The restaurants are good but could be more diversified. You see, it's a good (but not awesome) hotel, but it not worth the price. It's too expensive. The only (yes, the only) advantage is the "express" to skip the lines at the parks

It was a wonderful stay! I would suggest paying extra for the valet if you plan to drive around Orlando! Also request Tower 3 for your room. It's closet to the boats and shuttle buses. The room was nice, and mostly quiet. The only time we're heard anything from another room was when the room next to us flushed. All the staff were nice and knowledgeable.

Great place to stay if you plan to get the Universal park passes. The fast pass feature, included with the hotel, really made our Universal experience magical. While other folks stood in line, we flew through the lines. This fast pass feature, if purchased alone, more than makes up for the slightly higher price of the resort. Plus, by staying in this resort, you can get into one of the Universal parks an hour early!

The rooms were ample and clean with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, adjustable AC and a hot shower.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Great location as we were based in Tower 1. This meant only a 3-4 minute walk down to the Water Taxi. 5 minute journey meant we were then in the heart of all the action! Hotel room size was great. We stayed in a King Room with a front of the hotel view. Amenities included a sofa bed, a super King size bed, plenty of electrical points for tech charging and the shower was amazing! We also had room service on our first night and we couldn't have asked for better. We didn't like anything on the dinner menu (5pm-10pm) so rang and cheekily asked if they could provide the overnight meal service (10pm - 6am) a little earlier. The kitchen were more than happy to do so. Our server Ray was lovely and ran back and forth a few times to get extras for us! Very much appreciated! Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay! The rooms are great, with both a bedroom and living room. Its just a short walk to the theme parks (about 8 minutes) and water taxis are complementary. The staff are absolutely fantastic, always ready to happily help with whatever you may need. The housekeepers even noted which types of coffee and sugar we used and stocked extra of that. Really really thoughtful staff. The pool is awesome, with "dive-in" movies and two pretty secluded hot tubs. The on site dining is delicious as well. I have nothing but good things to say. If you're thinking of booking a vacation here, you won't be disappointed.

We flew in were from Wisconsin, so right off the bat everything is completely different from what we're truly used to. Once we got to the hotel everything was amazing we were greeted wonderfully at the door by nice Bellman, once we got to the front desk we were given leis, and welcomed so warmly I felt like we had been friends for years. We stayed on the second floor of the resort. Didn't have that much of a view to be honest but still from what we saw outside our window it was beautiful. We also of course went to Universal Studios, it was amazing and I definitely recommend booking a package deal with both of them everything is within walking distance there are also fairies of course and people that run bike taxi cabs that can take you back to your hotel or at least relatively close to the hotel. No complaints whatsoever! 10 out of 10 will be doing again.

Check in went smoothly, and staff was super friendly. We told them we were celebrating our honeymoon and received 2 free drink vouchers! Room was very clean, neat, updated and overall perfect. Bed was amazing as well! The transportation to and from universal is very convenient and easy to use. Highly worth the extra money to stay here!!!!!

I stayed here yesterday for Halloween horror night. The room service food was not what I've expected since I've stayed at Loews hotels a lot throughout my life. I explained everything at check out and the completely removed the room service from the bill!! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy leaving. It's beautiful hotel. Nice courtyard! Great location for universal studios. Super comfy beds! Definitely will be staying at this hotel again.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. It's a prime spot Close enough to walk to the parks (or take the free water taxi) and comfortable and classy. The sushi at the Orchid Court Lounge is great, but it only opens after five. The new renovations are nice; the rooms have been updated slightly and don't feel gimmicky or theme parky, and the staff is always awesome. I could do without the sliding door the resorts seem determined to swap on all their bathrooms from the traditional latch and hinge, but all in all, a great place to stay.

This is my go to resort when staying on property at Universal Orlando! Wonderful rooms, excellent service, quick walk or boat ride the parks! We always have a good time! Extra special attention this stay, we got caught in some rain walking back to resort, there was an employee offering warm towels to wet guests. It was a very nice surprise!

Check in process was very easy. We checked in early and stored our bags. The hotel texted us when our room was ready. We were here to visit the theme park. It is just a short walk from the hotel to the park. That is awesome. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall, a very nice hotel with the perks of being close to the theme parks.

Non-smokers beware! Stayed here for four nights on a Universal Parks vacation. Staff, rooms, and grounds were all great. Unfortunately have to down-grade to 3 stars because of the smoking policy. Hotel has a beautiful courtyard with orchids and a fountain, but non-smokers can't enjoy it because of the smoking. We voiced this concern at the front desk, but were told "that's the policy".

This is one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever stayed at. The staff are top notch in every aspect. You are welcomed every time you return for the day. The staff make conversation at every available time you encounter them. The food at the breakfast buffet was very good. Way better than Disney's Crystal Palace as well as more affordable. The boat ride over to Universal is really nice and convenient. I would definitely return to this resort and I highly recommend it.

The hotel was beautiful the picture's don't do the place justice. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Not one rude person in the place. The staff at Jake's bar were some of the nicest people I have ever met. The hotel was very clean and house keeping kept clean towels and toiletries in your room. My fiance and I had such an amazing time. The staff really made us feel like we were at a resort. The only thing I have negative to say is that there were guests smoking In the outside common sitting area with the elephant statues, and me being a non-smoker that was a little upsetting to have to deal with that. I was under the impression the resort had designated smoking areas and that was not one of them. Otherwise I will definitely come back and I will recommend this hotel to others.
