Nice hotel. Good location. They have a sound machine in room which you will appreciate. They do need queen size beds.

The location is perfect for getting anywhere in downtown Indianapolis, we were able to Lyft to dinner and a concert very easily. The hotel is very nice, the building is very old with a ton of character. Staff was very friendly. Parking is $25 for valet and they were very quick. Room was spacious and they even had a white noise machine for our use, very nice touch. Bathroom was a bit small, nothing crazy. Free breakfast was decent. All in all a great experience!

Our stay was awesome! We were in town for the Steelers game at Lucas Oil Stadium which is within walking distance. I wanted to thank the desk person Kristy who helped me - I left a medical device at the nearby theater and she took the time and a lot of effort to assist me right away. Thank you for caring Kristy - the world needs more people like you!!!!!!!!!!!

For the past three years our son has lived in Indianapolis, and the Hampton Inn has became our home away from home. I love the valet parking and the convenience of not having to find a parking spot every time we returned to our room. Every staff person we encountered during our 5 or so visits was friendly and helpful. We loved the mix of the historic building with modern amenities. Also like that it is so close to all that downtown Indy has to offer. We've grown quite fond of Indianapolis, and plan to come back to visit just to stay at the downtown Hampton again.

Room wasn't ready until 6pm while guaranteed check-in was supposed to be at 3pm.

Switched the credit card on the reservation, and they decided to charge BOTH cards the full amount. After finally sorting out the refund, I was told it would be 24-48 hours for the money to be returned.
3 days later, I called back and now I'm being told it will be an additional 5 days
I'm an hhonors member and travel very frequently, but apparently this location is hardly concerned with the satisfaction of their regular customers.

Hot Box pizza around the corner is really good though, but still not worth staying at the Hampton.

We stayed on the 9th floor at a room at the end of the hall, it was quiet and away from the elevators and foot traffic which was nice. The room was spacious and clean. The only downfall was the microwave light which was a bright blue that lit up the entire room when it was dark. Unfortunately the plug was behind the media center so unplugging it wasnt an option. It was a great location to the event we were attending.

I arrived and immediately thought the hotel appeared dirty. I checked in and when I got to my room I realized they put me in a room with 2 double beds rather than the king size I registered for 6 months prior. When I called the front desk to tell them they didn't care. They said there was nothing they could do about it. I told them I was going to call other hotels in the area to see if I could find a room with a king size bed. Unfortunately everything was booked due to a conference that was going on but when I finally called another Hilton and asked to speak to a manager she was so disgusted that the Hampton Inn which is a Hilton property refused to help me. She made some calls and within 60 minutes they switched my room. It's pretty sad that it took another manager from a different hotel to switch my room to the correct one. I would never again stay at a Hampton Inn, especially the one in downtown Indianapolis.

Nice comfortable place. We needed a feather free room due to my wife's allergies and they delivered! Rarely does a hotel get this right the first time, but they did. In the middle of a very fun district, but, as stated at the front desk, it is loud. We came for a conference at it was only a couple of blocks from the convention center, an easy walk.

We used the Hampton Inn Downtown for a room block for our wedding guests. We got ready for the wedding in our large suite and used the Pennsylvania Room for brunch with our families the next morning. Everything was honestly perfect. The hotel staff and the event staff were just so accommodating. We had a large suite which was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in. I would 100% recommend. There were no problems with the valet and the hotel is beautiful. All our guests loved it.

The location is great with only a short walk to the Lucas Oil Stadium. Our room is very spacious, the washroom is clean and presentable. There is good lighting, and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. Breakfast is great, but there should be a plain egg offering that doesn't include bacon or ham. Maid service is great as expected. Overall, great experience.

I was visiting my family who was there for a business conference. The valet staff was my one and only gripe as they failed to get my car in a satisfactory period of time. Otherwise, the staff was really friendly and the room was nice as far as I could tell. I did not stay overnight.

Not bad. It's not the most posh hotel, but I'd stay here again. It's clean, and has a certain older charm. Brick buildings all around. The only issue is traffic can be pretty noisy. There are too many people with loud exhaust buzzing around trying to be cool.

Pretty decent hotel. I stayed here in the past and I would stay there again. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower in the bathtub was pretty small and tight. The hotel overall needs updating. Valet parking is almost a must. There is very little parking on the street. The location is excellent. It is within walking distance to two major sporting venues and restaurant and bar availability is awesome.
