Not a bad hotel. I work here but they are under construction (I do construction) which bothers customers a lot. It seems like a nice place to stay according to the people staying there is nice. Plus, the location is perfect since is in the middle of downtown. The rooms that are renovated look pretty pretty good (I'll take pictures of them once some are finished this week) just beware construction might end by the end of this year (2017). They don't tell you they're renovating and even if you ask they will say no. Overall it looks nice.
Edit: I've added photos of the rooms just after finishing renovation. If you come after renovation and get a regular room it will most likely look like the one in the photos since they're all pretty much the same. Compared to how it used to look is a day and night difference. It looks and feels more alive than before.

Construction was going on, but we were in a new suite. Very nice. We were a bit concerned upon walking in, as lightning was dismal and it wasn't very inviting esthetically. The free breakfast was amazing! Eggs/omlets made to order, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeala much larger variety than usual. Parking was Extremely limited due to a majority of the parking garage spaces being blocked off for construction purposes. But overall, pleased.

I realize it's temporary but they have a small note when booking that the hotel is "undergoing a transformation" which meant the entire hotel and parking structure are under heavy construction. The rooms directly above were being demolished starting at 8AM, with constant extremely loud noise preventing me from being able to talk on conference calls. I would have hoped that a downtown hotel hosting so many business travelers would have been more transparent about about the day time unusability of the rooms. Front desk was sympathetic but I strongly recommend avoiding this place until the renovations are complete, they don't appear to have even adjusted the prices to reflect the inconvenience.

They are partway through a remodel. The newly decorated rooms are brighter and more modern looking. The parking garage is also having some work being done to it. The hotel is still very nice. I have stayed there probably 6 times over a few years. It is in a great downtown location.

I'd give it zero stars if I could
My husband was supposed to stay here on military business and they misspelled his last name when making the reservation. Understandable mistake, but when they could not find his reservation, they refused to try to find it ANY other way than his last name that had been entered incorrectly. He gave them email, phone number, CONFIRMATION NUMBER, and they did not even try to pull it up. When he tried to make a new reservation, they told him they did not have to honor military rate and he could only stay if he was willing to pay out of his own pocket >$100 PER NIGHT for his WEEK LONG military training HE was INSTRUCTING. They kicked my active duty military husband out on the streets to fend for himself and showed no remorse whatsoever. They then CHARGED HIS GOVERNMENT CREDIT CARD FOR A NIGHT'S STAY!!! It was eventually refunded-but they in no way tried to make it right. We will not stay at another one of these jokes of a hotel!!!

Despite the fact that the hotel is under construction it still a very comfortable stay. Room is in good shape and very clean. Breakfast is very good, as I typically expect from embassy suites, and the evening manager's reception was also very good. The only real issue I have is the hotel itself, outside the room, was quite warm.ans humid. I would likely stay here again if in town.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great, it was just a few blocks away from the stadium we were trying to go to that night. They had a happy-hour toward the early evening where we could get free drinks. I wish it was a full bar but I took advantage of a few basic rum and cokes. I think they only had one or two types of beer you could get. My biggest complaint was the beds. For a suite, the beds were kind of small and really firm. I sleep on my side and I recall my butt falling asleep a few times throughout the night, no pun intended. Maybe the pullout bed in the couch would have been more comfortable but I never tried it. I may look for a more comfy hotel next time.

Rooms are somewhat dated. The walls are super thin. Pull out mattress is as thin as the walls. They seem to have the need to play music down in the lobby at high volume through the entire night that you can hear 15 stories up. If I could give 0/10 I would. Will never stay here again. I highly suggest staying at a different hotel.

This property is in a great location right in the Warehouse District, however, it leaves much to be desired. From top to bottom, it was missing an attention to detail, and just felt dirty. The pictures were taken in my room upon check-in, and not pictured is all the hair and debris that was on my vanity. In addition, my shower was so old that I could see the last 2 or 3 finishes. Granted, I would assume this would be corrected soon, as the property is currently under renovation. Staff was decent - not sure Evan at the desk is cut out for hospitality, but the housekeeper that I came into contact with was a sweetheart, as was Kenyotta at the desk. Won't be back due to hotel choices in this area, as there is a lot of room for opportunity at this particular property.

The hotel is currently under going construction. Even with that, the place was clean and everyone was friendly. Our room was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was great, better than I expected! The only downside was that the parking garage is very claustrophobic. The turns are very tight. Overall, great experience

Perfect for a trip with my four kids. We were close to the museum and had fun explaining downtown. There was construction going on in the Lobby and in rooms. Can't wait to see it when they are finished. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even allowed us to change rooms so we could have a place for all 6 of us to sleep. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast despite the renovations.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend trip. Close to Indianapolis Children's Museum, Zoo, White River Park, and mall. Staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel currently undergoing renovations, but this didn't interfere with happy hour, breakfast, or the pool. Suites are great for trips with kids. Definitely recommend.
