Very friendly, clean rooms, easy access to room from parking lot and then to freeway. Breakfast was sufficient.
Nice place! Ample parking, fitness room had everything working. Staff was nice. Didn't get to eat breakfast so can't comment on that.
Nice hotel with managers reception in the evenings. The location looks shady, but there is ample parking with security guards at night.
Not standard quality and experience expected from a Hampton Inn. I stay at Hampton Inns across the country due to consistency of customer service and comfort during business trips, and this location is unworthy to be a part of the Hilton brand.
This place is dated with 1970s style decor; color scheme really needs an update as no one thinks bright gold and peacock blue looks classy or contemporary. Not a good/safe/comfortable choice for a single female business traveler or families. Appeared to be mostly construction crews and a few groups of business travelers.
- Digital check in was pointless as I had to show my ID and go over my credit card details for reasons that the desk attendant couldn’t explain.
- Wall paint in my room (312) was chipping off, especially by the headboard.
- Bathroom vent looked to have been ripped from the ceiling and was barely hanging up
- Mattress was old, lumpy and hard as a rock. I usually look forward to the “fresh and clean” beds at Hamptons. This motto wasn’t even mentioned anywhere like normal. No plush duvet, no fluffy pillows, and no soft pillow top mattress.
- The alarm clocks in the rooms are so loud that they sound like the fire alarm. I was awakened at 3 AM and again at 430 AM by my neighbors’ alarms going off. Walls are paper thin and clocks are insanely loud.
- Water pressure/heat was awesome (the only reason for 2 versus 1 star).
- Standard Hampton breakfast fare was mediocre. I was the first person to arrive at 6 AM, but the hot food (scrambled eggs and sausage) was about room temperature.
- No nicer dining options within 15 minutes. Denny’s and Burger King are the nearest options.
- Another guest mentioned a problem with prostitution at the hotel. I understand there is a strip club across the street.
- Parking lot is shared with another hotel and is not well lit.
Decent quality rooms and hotel. Pool is outdoors and in an odd location. Rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. Not much around the hotel except for the highway and a Burger King. Workers are all very nice.
I loved it! Super nice room and staff! Very clean, smells fresh throughout the hotel and room.
Nice people. Clean room. Trouble with shower, either very hot or very cold water. Strong scent in lobby. Older hotel.
I cannot find stars over five. It's not enough to give five stars. Cream room, completed managed, complementary tasty good breakfast and happy hour evening foods. Kindness staffs. I love the hotel. All my friends, please stay here when you need a hotel in Dallas, I'm fully recommend.
I only stayed one night, but it was overall really nice. The standout feature of this hotel is they host a "happy hour", with good food and plenty of company to talk to. This event really makes it stand out compared to other Hampton's I've been to.
Not in the best location of Dallas. However the staff was very courteous and the stay was pleasant.
This hotel wasn't what I expected from the Hilton hotel family. It was in a very rough part of town and literally across the street from a club. A key was required to get in any outside door, but the doors were simply propped open at night. People in the parking lot were loud until the wee hours of the morning as they were coming back from the club.
What you get is straight forward for the price. The rooms are clean and the maid service is consistent.
The location is a little close to the airport. I could hear planes until around 9 pm. The hotel was currently updating furniture and equipment, which was nice to see. The rooms were clean, people working there were friendly, and the breakfast was good.
Being nice about it, the area is sketchy. If you are into strip clubs, LED stores, and sex trade workers, you are in luck. The hotel itself is dated, the pool was green and surrounded by trash. Maid service was slow and difficult to communicate with. That said, the room had a refrigerator, microwave, and quality hot water. The rooms were quiet, even though the location is near some heavy highway traffic. Breakfast was exactly as expected from this chain, which is fine.
