In town for a family funeral, the staff were very attentive to anything we needed. The afternoon person (i wish i had gotten her name) saved us some cookies and personally brought them out to us when we arrived back at the hotel one night. The housekeeping lady was always great at leaving is extra cups, shampoo and towels and even left us a sympathy card from the Hampton Inn staff. We were very grateful to the staff there for being so accommodating. Thank you!

Excellent hotel! I have stayed here several times on business trips and was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the service of all the staff, and the delicious continental breakfast. HIGHLY recommend!

Clean, wirh convenient access to the freeway. Staff is, as expected with this chain, excellent. Three stars because everything feels small and cramped. From the far too tiny closet, the very limited floor space - especially in a room with two queen beds, which somehow feel smaller than regular queen beds - to the breakfast area which is less than half the size I found at other properties in this chain, it just isn't nearly as roomy and comfortable as I've come to expect in this chain. It feels likw they remodeled the floor to cram in an extra few rooms. Another quibble is that the mattress was worn and unsupportive, leading to back pain in the morning for somebody in the party.

SMALL and old. I normally really enjoy Hampton Inn's. This one, the room was shockingly small. They somehow crammed 2 double beds in there with a small walkway in between them and at the for of the beds. That was entire room. We were traveling with 4 people. Not what we expected after being cramped in a car all day, which is why we splurged for this instead of a motel 8. A/C unit old and noisy. Beds old and saggy. Other than that, everything is clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Paying extra for whirlpool tub not worth it with a few jets in side really doesn't do much.

This place is so clean and beautifully decorated. Diane, the night desk clerk was so pleasant to talk to. She recommend some things to see around your great city. We will definitely be checking some of these out, starting tomorrow!!! So happy with our stay!! Would recommend this hotel highly.

We stayed there 8/20/17--night before total eclipse just to the south--so it was quite busy. ESP given that, we were very pleased with its cleanliness & the excellent supply & quality of breakfast items. We stay at MANY Hampton Inns due to their reasonable prices & free breakfast which tends to have a larger variety of items than many places.
DISCLAIMER: For the sake of posterity commemorating the importance of witnessing the TOTAL ECLIPSE & why we stayed at the Hampton Inn Louisville, the pictures posted were not taken there but ~40 miles south on 8/21/17 at peak darkness ~2:27pm EDT. Good thing stay was free I used points. Front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and nice. My issue was the damp, musty smell both in my room and throughout the hotel. It almost made the stay unbearable. They really need to get this addressed. The breakfast was average to below average. If you like biscuits bad gravy great, but premade omelets were awful and fruit selection was minimal and poorly cut. Not sure why they can't just have scrambled eggs with some bacon or sausage ketchup bottles and salsa availability would also be improvements.

This is not a bad place to stay on your way through town for a night or two. The common areas are clean and we'll kept and the complimentary breakfast is generous. The room and bathroom was clean but seemed really damp and the floor areas were sticky.

Normally a nice chain. Our room was given away by accident, in a fully booked hotel. After my family sat in the lobby for about 30 mins she finally finds the mistake and gets our room. The people were nice but just really inconvenient when you precheck-in and driving all day only to find that 10 pm at night you can not go-to your room shower and go-to bed.

It's a relatively nice hotel in a pretty crappy part of town. Nothing fancy. It's a Hampton so nothing fancy but breakfast is decent and the decor is actually pretty up to date. I will say though that even the "premium" internet offered to diamond members is just terrible. I often need to download large files for work and the internet here just doesn't cut it. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot.

Rooms are a bit run down. AC is terrible! Tried to turn on the heater and started sneezing after a few minutes. Turned on the light near the unit to get a better look Tried another room and looked about the same. They said they are getting new units soon. I advise to check with them 1st on this before booking a room

Location was great for Bourbon tasting as well as convenient to downtown to have a Hot Brown at the The Brown Hotel. They are currently renovating the exterior by we didn't hear a peep in our room on the first floor. Staff was very friendly. Good variety for breakfast.
