The place itself is beautiful. The food is less than average. If you want authentic Mexican food you won't get it here. Overpriced and limited menu, not worth it.

Took me some time to write this review to make sure I wasn't writing out of anger. However, management is a NIGHTMARE to work with. Rented this as a venue for my wedding. A few weeks before the event they let me know they were going to rent it out to a few hundred politicians as well in the same area because they needed money to finance their new Carlsbad location. They only care about money and nothing else. Don't rent the place as a venue if you are looking for advice from someone that has experienced this place. They shut my wedding down 30 minutes early and chased me down with another bill (still in my wedding dress) after I paid them thousands down instead of sending it to me a bill at a more appropriate time. My family was LIVID seeing them force me to give them a credit card and demand tip after my last dance.

The location and setting of the restaurant is amazing! Went for a large party and was pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the setting was all Open and outdoors. The service was very good especially since we had a large party. The food took quite a while to come out much longer than I would have expected and the food itself was disappointing portions were small to average. And the flavor was less than extraordinary it was all plain and basic, a lot of the group was underwhelmed with the food but the experience was still amazing overall. I wouldn't come back for the food but the ambiance and drinks were great.

The venue is amazing. The whole experience there was very nice. I loved waiting 45 minutes to get our table. We could sit in the bar area and snack on chips and have some drinks. The food is average. Our waitress was extremely busy so she was very short with us and would walk away before we even finished a sentence. Overall pretty good.

Food was horrible! Typical white washed Mexican food. So gross. Sweet sauces and canned beans. Nothing authentic Mexican about this place. I gave it 2 stars because our server was nice and the drinks were generous for the $.

The atmosphere here is so cute. Lots of outdoor lighting and a nice fountain. Friendly service and pretty good food. The chips and salsa are very fresh and the portion are large.

LOVED it. A girlfriend and I went here after a day at the San Diego safari park and we loved everything about it. I was a little hesitant because of the reviews about the service, but we had an awesome waiter who was attentive and helpful. The views too of course were marvelous and when it got chilly they turned on the outdoor heaters for us.
The only reason I knocked a star off was because they allowed a photographer to take pictures of us and tried to sell us the pictures over dinner, instead of waiting until we had finished.

This place is a great relaxed atmosphere. Only out door seating. Food is good, but some what authentic meaning they use moles and such. Margaritas are yum. Price has gone up over the last few years. But a good spot!

Our experience started off on the right foot as we changed the number of guests at the last minute and they were cheerfully able to accommodate us. Three people in our party had the duck and it was prepared perfectly. They have a very extensive wine list, however, the wine prices are very high. Service was very attentive. The only negative was that some of our group wanted to try the six course sampler menu and they were told that they could only have it if the entire group ordered it. Too much food for some of us. All in all a great experience otherwise. We'll be back.

We love this place. The people who run it are so friendly and funny. They send soup home with my son when I don't join him and his friends for dinner! How sweet is that? They have an extensive menu and everything we have tried is delicious. I wholeheartedly urge you to try the place!
