Nice place, made many friends! Friendly staff, safe and clean place. I was relieved to have lockers for personal belongings. The early baggage check in was really a relief!
Easy access from the LAX airport, just take the bus #150 and drop in Collins Ave, just 3 blocks to walk.
Bring a big ring padlock for the locker.
Breakfast is included, but might be small for men since it's a paper bag with 1 fruit, yogurt and cereals. It can vary with cereal bar and orange juice.
There's a small kitchen area, with microwave, hot water and stove. They have TV.response / report this review -

Great location!! However Compared to other HI hostels definitely below average, breakfast is just a snack, because I don't eat dairy and I didn't want to waste it i asked what was in it and the girl said "i dont know", she didn't even bother looking. Staff unfriendly, not saying hello. Only one lady who worked one evening was nice and the dutch guy. The other girls are just on their phones and don't even look at you or say hello. Bad costumer service for a hostel.
Beds need power sockets so you can charge phone overnight and small reading lights, shower handle was broken, beds uncomfortable. There is no common area besides the reception and outside. It's still work in progress as it's only just openened but this shouldn't affact friendliness of staff. This place definitely has potential but get your act togetherresponse / report this review -

Betty and the entire staff are exceptional representatives of a fine example of hostel accommodations staff. They explain the rules clearly and make sure they are followed. The facilities are clean and uptodate and the location is awesome with 1 block access to the beaches.

Hostel is decent. There are no mats for sandy/wet beach feet and everyone gets one towel. Overall, great value for the price! Great experience. :)

It was my first time staying in a hostel and it was an amazing experience. First, its location is perfect. It's barely a 5 minute walk to the beach and ocean drive. The rooms are very clean and the staff are helpful and nice. At first, I was concerned because there is only one bathroom for 8 people, but we never had a problem. There's no common area, but we made friends in our room. The breakfast isn't great, but it's free. I recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Miami Beach.

I have stayed in two hostels, one in Las Vegas and this one and the latter took the cake. It was clean, nice, quiet, inviting and the guest were pleasant. I figured all hostels were dingy and old but I was wrong. I can't really comment on the staff because I didn't need to interact with them but the desk agent was nice. And the location of this place is awesome because it makes you feel like you belong and are not broke and a loser for staying in a hostel unlike the Las Vegas one that I stayed in. There are an array of other hostels and hotels nearby. Lastly, hip decor.

I've decided to book this place based on a great experience I had at their sister hostel in Washington DC. Unfortunately this place was nothing like I was expecting it to be. There was no common area, apparently they were in process have one soon. Their breakfast was a bag with yoghurt and orange juice. Like seriously?! The rooms were clean but there was no sheets to cover yourself at night just gross blanket.

Best hostel ever! An experience like no other. Met friends here that will be for ever. Not only new friends but memories that I will cherish forever!!! All thanks to this remarkable hostel. amazing staff and service.

These people are fraud. We booked this place for spring break 2017. We got here and they started telling us a different story, the price you pay online is different from the price you actually pay in front cos they charge $60 for towels and keys and they don't tell you that until you get there. Before you book, call to ask for total price not estimate and the guy at the front desk with the name Matias is rude as fuck and he's gonna say they have nothing to do with the extra fees that it's the machine like one can't control a machine. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone, they lie!!!!

Clean rooms and bathrooms. I had en ensuit bathroom which is rather uncommon in hostels and can complicate things when 8 people want to take a shower at the same time. Alcohol consumption was allowed only in a designated outside area. There wasn't a proper kitchen or community room to hang out in but it was my understanding that there are being renovated.
Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Overall a good experience but would only recommend it if you are planning to spend little time in the hostel.response / report this review -

Really nice place and great location. Only one block away from the beach. Lots of restaurants in the area, grocery store, clothing stores and bus stop in a walkable distance. Super easy to get there by bus from the airport. Rooms are nice and clean and staff was really helpful when I was there.
