Very nice people here they tell you the truth what's wrong with your car and they try to make your self comfortable with cookies, coffee, soda, water and if here for over one hour they will give you a ride home and pick you up when the car is done that's nice of them

Prompt and accurate service thus far, nice and honest reps in service department. Wesley thoroughly explained what's wrong, why it happened, etc. Plus, I accidentally left my measuring wheel in the loaner vehicle and didn't realize it until a few days later. They held on to it for me. This sets them apart to me not only because they do their jobs well, but there are a lot of places I've been to (mainly on the south side) where they'd steal the mints n change from your cubby hole if given the chance.

Got my oil changed here on my 2017 Canyon. Truck states in manual and on oil fill cap that it takes 5w20. Driving home I happened to look at the paperwork and they put 5w30 in the truck. When I went back, the people at the service desk looked as if I was talking a foreign language. They kept going back to it doesn’t matter, it’s synthetic dexos. It’s like they have no knowledge of oil weight and viscosity. Kind of scary that lots of cars could be out there with the wrong oil. In the end the dealer made it right and changed it out with the correct stuff. Check your paperwork people!

Everyone was always respectful and kind to me throughout the purchase experience, and things did work out eventually. When I first bought the Impala, I had the Xzylon coat put on, and the people who put it on scratched the car and did not notice tree sap on the roof that they coated over. Next, I did not have the correct mats for the car, as the people who got the car ready gave me Silverado mats instead. The manager and salesman did agree to take the car in to get the correct mats and get the scratches and tree sap cleaned at no cost for me, but it did end up taking a week at which time I had a loner vehicle. The remote on the loaner vehicle did not start the car once I left, so I had to open the remote and adjust the battery and the prongs that hold the battery to get the car started (a good reason I am happy with the keyed start in my Impala). All these issues did resolve, and I have my car back. When I got the car back, there was still an opening in the floor where they mist have needed entry for the installation of heated seats. One of the service managers helped me velcro the carpet down. Although no one at the dealership could tell me why the heated seats worked the way they did, I called the company that did the work and they gave me a good answer. Now the Information screen does not populate every so often on the Driver Information Center (between the gauges behind the steering wheel). So I will bring back my Impala on Wednesday of this week to have the DIC diagnosed, as the OnStar people told me to bring it in. Throughout all of this, everyone was kind and respectful to me, but there are some people working at Griffin Chevy that need to know how to do their job, and do it right the first time.

Excellent Service! They're very respectful and caring. The prices aren't that bad either. Cheapest full synthetic oil change I've ever had. I recommend this dealership over the rest.

Fast service normally. This last service was horrible! They sheared my bosses truck brake lines and the vehicle couldn't stop a mile after leaving. I called them and they told me to call their tow service. I had to wait for 2 hours in 90° weather for him to come. I lost hours of pay for this trying to do a quick favor for my boss. How do you shear a brake line doing an oil change? Get some new technicians!

Extremely dishonest dealership for service repairs. I have busted these guys multiple times with telling me parts are bad when they are perfectly fine when I take it elsewhere for second opinion. I went back because at first i thought it was honest mistake and its convenience to my area. All they want to do is up-sell because mechanics are on commission based salary. Last time I was there for my Yukon Denali XL which had service light on, they wanted a $1000 to open up my engine just to find issue. I took it to "South town Firestone" on hwy 100 for second opinion and it was a $220 sensor repair and I had my car back in 4 hrs (Thank you Steve at Firestone). This is 1 of 4 poor service experiences at Griffin Chevrolet. Its been a year and truck runs perfect. I do not recommend this dealership what so ever.

Everyone here is very nice. I delt with Peter and Isabel. Both helped me tremendously. I was in a unique situation involing a lease and a divorce. Isabel worked for DAYS trying to find me the best price on a different vehicle for me. She didnt give up and found me a great interest rate and a great used car. I am so thankful for the staff at griffin chevy. I will recommend them to family and friends.

Everything was great. I had a loaner car for the day which was great. I also had them put new wiper blades on for me and a car detail wash. All was great!!

Worst experience ever. Just like everyone else we are looking for a deal with low miles. I had found a 2011 Chevy Cruz online and it was essentially listed at $8000 which isn't awful, I know. I was from 2 hours away and drove to Milwaukee to check it out. However we took it for a test drive and there was a slight noise in the engine, I was guessing it was from the direct intake engine type (not super familiar with them), so I asked about it and the sales rep said, "You are just supposed to buy the car, I have been selling cars for a lot of years and no one have ever asked me questions like this. You are supposed to just buy it." I had elaborated to him that you don't just buy things like this and hope for the best and you have to do research and make sure that you are making a good purchase. He nodded and said, "first you must really want it and we can talk about price but I won't be able to go down much." I had stated I will take it and lets talk about price.

He then took us to his office and without even making an offer took $110 off the original price and said that "he would make our time coming down there." I had rejected the offer and stated $7500. He laughed and left for about 10 Minutes and came back. I was in no rush because I know how car dealers can be. He said he can go to $7800. We said how about $7600. As we sat there, there was a picture frame flipping through pictures on his desk of his in ground pool and essentially perfect life per say and he comes back and says that he can't do that because the car is worth $10,400. I had told him unfortunately I don't know where he got that number from the there is no way that the car is worth that much and I had explained to him that the bank apprised it at $9300 and he said "then you know it is a deal already." I agreed and said yes for $7700 we will take it today. He had said "That's only another $100 why are you making it such a big deal?" My response was, "If it isn't a big deal then why can't you drop it the $100 because I can see *pointing at the picture frame* that you also push for that extra money."

He freaked out and said that he works 6 days a week to afford that and I stated that my other half, who was buying the car, works 7 because Military and his civilian job, and that we also work hard for our money.

It became a childish battle with a 60+ year old man. We decided to leave because it was just not an environment you want to buy a car from. He had someone to come in to talk to us to see if there was anything else we needed AFTER we decided we are leaving and I never wanted to get out of a place so bad in my life.

We ended up buying closed to home and found the same car 3 years newer and 45,000 less miles for what that car was "worth". Don't ever get stuck buying something you don't want from rude people.

He ended up calling me, leaving me a voice mail, and texting me the next day stating that he would take $7700. Unfortunately I stick to my word as much as they stuck to theirs. WE DID NOT BUY!

If you are reading this and my story I hope you either take this into consideration or have a better time!

2 out of 4 visits were bad. Two were simple oil change and that was fine. One time I called for a quote on installing a brake box (which I already had just wanted them to install) in my truck for my trailer. He called with a quote of $250. I said no thanks that seemed kinda high. Well he called back 2 minutes later saying he gave me wrong quote (yeah right) and was $150 which I did agree to. Second time I had wipers that weren't working. As soon as I walked in he pressured me into signing agreement for service for $103 for diagnostic test. My wipers don't work, even I can tell you the motor is bad. So after an hour they come back and yes it's bad. After Another hour later and another $360 later they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. It was 6:55 on Friday night and HAD to leave by 7:00pm sharp. Wouldn't even take truck through car wash. When they came looking for me in waiting room they started leaving saying 'I don't know what happened to the guy' (I've been the only one there for the past 2 hours) I stood up and they finally asked if I was waiting for truck? I said 'yes and I'm not a guy'. Long story shot I think they did try to and did take advantage of me!!

My Camaro needed its timing chains replaced. After comparing prices at several different dealerships and shops I decided to get an estimate from Jason M Schmidtke in the service department. The quote I got was almost $1000 cheaper than the other places that I spoke with. Not only did they repair my car for a great price, but they also did warranty work and cleaned it for me. Jason was respectful, communicative, and stayed true to his word. I would highly recommend Griffin Chevrolet based off of the experiences that I had with them.
