I have become someone that order a LOT of things online. Through many frustrations trying to find matching light sets we finally decided to visit a STORE. We were so happy when we arrived and we actually had someone to talk to about our lighting needs. The associate listened to our design style goals, and really worked hard to find the lighting we were looking for. I had forgotten how nice it is to have someone HELP US IN PERSON. And the service that we got from Grand Rapids Lighting was amazing. Walked out the door that day with the perfect lights for our new bathroom. This is changing my mind to getting back to actual stores where people help!

This store is nothing but trouble. A friend of mine bought lights in Feb off the floor, and paid in full. Before she could pick them up- they SOLD them to another party AND gave them away! Now, 3 months later, and many staff lies later, She is still being told she has to wait yet another 2-3 weeks to receive her final fixture. She called the manufacturer and has gone above and beyond what her responsibility is as a customer. NOTHING is being done by GR lighting because they just don't care. She's also not the first to have this happen! Even the owner could care less and would have rather refunded her money than admitting the mistake, and offering to make it right. If her lights hadn't coordinated, she surely would have taken the thousands spent at this hovel elsewhere. Learn some care, customer service, and STOP LYING to clients. Guaranteed this company is out of business at the rate they care for their clients- I sure wont be spending a dime here.

Came here for the beat the clock savings deal. Advertised 40% off, make sure you price check first! Everything is marked up just so they can advertise the discount. You can do better with competitors deals.

Asked for a price match, manager didn't even bother to speak with me in person, instead let over $1500 sale walk out the door.

Unsatisifed.

I bought the most beautiful chandelier at Grand Rapids Lighting Center. It hangs over my Dining Room table and I enjoy it every day. It really makes the room look elegant. They have such a huge section of every kind of lighting that anyone could walk in and find exactly what they are looking for. GR Lighting's great staff is really heplful too.
