  Excellent customer service! I wanted to stain my deck myself for the very first time. Their staff walked me through how to prep the deck, using an industrial sander, and how to properly stain the deck. Their advice was spot on! My deck looks amazing! They were patient, knowledgable, and very professional. I am very excited about becoming a do-it-yourself person because I know I have the Kingsland Hardware staff to help me do my projects the right way. - Patty M., Cascade, MI

  Just waited half an hour for propane fill up. Not the service I am used to from Kingsland. Normally excellent customer service.

  This is by far the best hardware store in the area. It's heavily staffed on weekends, everyone knows his/her stuff, and the rental counter is second to none. Sunday hours are great bonus, too.

  I would give zero stars if I could. I have been bringing my lawn mowers here for YEARS to get tuned up. They did a fine job at tuning up the lawn mower. This year, when my husband brought in our mower for a tune up (MARCH 19, 2016), they refused to tune up our mower because they said they no longer repair mowers that they do not sell. The sales person even told my husband that they started this policy last year. That is a blatant LIE because we had our mower tuned up by them last year. I even called them in January, and asked them when I could bring my mower in for a tune up. The sales person told me NOTHING of their "NEW" policy, and she said I could bring it in mid-March. SO, after loading a heavy lawn mower into the car, we now have to unload it WITHOUT it being tuned up. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR INTEGRITY AND SALES STAFF. I also need to start a new search for a mower repair company.

  Staff is polite and knowledgeable and able to point you in the right direction on what to purchase for your project. Prices can be a little higher than Home Depot or Amazon but the location is convenient and their service is solid. Rentals are also a painless process and they showed me how to use the equipment before sending me on my way.
