The smell of the room and the condition of the bathroom is enough to not recommend it to anyone. Very outdated, one good thing was that it was close to downtown.

This place is clean but old and outdated. Towels don't match, water damage showing in bathrooms. Beds are uncomfortable. Windows aren't sealedthere's air blowing through. Elevators are scary to ride in. Parking structure is outdated..large trucks are not recommended. Overall it's good if you want a cheap place for the night..not recommended if you want comfort.

Convenient location near downtown and close to Interstate. Older property but very reasonable price, quiet, clean with pleasant staff. Good wi-fi. All and all, I would stay there again.

Not a good experience. First we had no heat. A not so friendly maintenance man came to turn it on, smell was awful. The bathroom ceiling was falling down. Was a no smoking room but had cigarette burns on the comfort. The staff at the front was nice. Needs lots of repairs.

Awesome! It's peaceful & quiet enough to whereas I can finally hear myself think (for a change). Staff is pleasant enough. Room was clean, showers were clean, linen good. 😁👌

Nice hotel, I was a walk in no reservation and I got nice room last minute, nice staff and they had a military discount which for veterans is very nice.

This hotel gets no stars. I've had personal experience and people I know have had theirs, also. There is a reason it's so cheap. Bugs, drug dealers and addicts constantly harassing people in the parking deck. I was sexually assaulted in the parking deck. Fred, the man who owns the place is also extremely shady. He's nosey and follows tenants around but does nothing about the problems mentioned. He'll also kick you out because you got make-up on one of their towels or sheets with no warning, even if you have days paid for. I wouldn't give my money to this place again if sleeping under a bridge was my only other option.

Si Blake the front desk associate was a total a** no help from anyone about the nasty room rather wanted to switch rooms than give a refund. As you can see the pics below what the room looks like

Room smelled horrible, it was as if the bed was made and trash removed but room was not cleaned/sanitized. It smelled of poop and cigathere smoke. The staff is nice and they did provide us a different room. Bathrooms are not well kept, mildew growing all around the tub. Everything is old, (carpeting, bedding, furniture) which would be ok if cleanliness was evident. One of the guests had wiped blood on the elevator wall. Will not be staying here again.

this is a great, reliable Hampton, in a great location. Nicer than your usual Hampton Inn. You are paying for the location though. Lots of restaurant and shopping in close proximity too. Several restaurants you can walk too and the South Park Mall is about a mile away

First off all let me tell you that I have lived in Charlotte for about 20 years and this is really a value for a hotel room. They have a great weekly rate. Room is sophisticated with flat screens & there is no smoking inside hotel. If a guest smokes they get banned and fined. This hotel does not play when it comes to smoking inside. They have a designated smoke area outside and tbh the parking deck is a little old but really for what you are paying and what the king size bed room looks like its awesome. This hotel was bought out a couple of years ago and is being renovated. They have events and incentives for guests also which is great if you have kiddos. Overall I think that some people expect so much for the little they pay which is ridiculous. Overall 4stars

My Sons needed a room, I looked and felt this was a good place for them to stay. The women on the phone was very sweet and help with the needs I had with the times of arrival and then his departure time. He got in very late ( early in the am) the need to rest before driving back north the same day.. Well, he was given a room, with a hole in the window! The Refrigerator was broken, the room smelled like pot!! The bed were not clean.. he could see the imprint of the person before him head in the pillow!! Luckily he did bring blankets with him ( which he used, & his own pillow.. I told him for the price I paid 90.00 he should have asked for another room! He said it was late, he was very tired, he had to walk down steps ( 6 floors).. there wasn't an elevator for guests?? So he made do with it!! I'm Furious !! I was told it was a non smoking hotel- motel!! I guess I needed to ask about pot! He said cigarette butts were all over the steps!
They need to clean up their act! I hope that I get a response from this!
Before you ever go there!! Check the room, if you are handicap!! Idk!
I don't think he'll stay there again, he needs to go back for more firefighter testing.. for the Charlotte area!! Nice way to treat your guest or future first responders!
