It was really nice and cozy. Maids did very good. Beds were very nice. Very nice well keep place with many activities such as the pool. And the outdoor pool in the summer. Any questions you have they answer very well. Loved this place.

This hotel was surprisingly pleasant to stay at. Sure, there are some flaws, but overall it was nice.
A few pros: close to the main drag through Gatlinburg, so every thing was within walking distance ( though there is a giant hill you must climb to get back to the hotel from the main drag), room was clean, the interior was decorated nicely for Christmas, friendly staff
Cons: exterior is a bit outdated, elevator is slow, parking is tight, the breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is.
Overall, it was good. I would stay here again. Not sure how the stay would be during the peak seasons.response / report this review -

This was our first stay but will not be our last. From the time you walk into the front doors it's an amazing experience. Nice large Lobby with easy-to-access registration desk. The staff was very nice and accommodating. This place has an amazing pool With 2 levels and a hot tub. It had lots of chairs next to the pool to relax. It had vending machines and a light breakfast was served.

We were given room 104 at check-in. When we walked into our room there was a very stale odor (mildew). We noticed mold in the bathroom on the floor and the wall of the tub unit. After showering I experienced the tub not draining, but also the bathroom floor had about an inch of water. I’m not sure exactly from where the water was coming from either the faucet or the shower head, but the room was definitely not clean. I requested a room change and was assigned a new room on the forth floor. Didn’t have issues with the tub draining or water on the floor, we we did notice mold in the bathroom, on the floor and the tub unit. This room was not any cleaner. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel.. A little old but comfy beds, clean rooms, hot water, clean bathrooms and the pool and hot tub were what we needed.. The breakfast mini buffet was really good, lots of options for a mini buffet. The staff was really friendly. Lots of parking spaces. The hotel is walking distance to the main street and if you don't feel like walking, there is a trolley stop close by. I'm only giving it a 4 just because of tiny details that could have been improved but overall, great experience. We see ourselves coming back

Decent hotel. Half of it you room doors are outside which I am not a fan. Great place if you have children. Pool area was nice. Morning buffet was good too. Really recommended for families

The hotel is located within walking distance of Gatlinburg's downtown area. If you don't mind walking you can walk to any store or restaurant. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Some hurricane Irma evacuees have stayed here, and the hotel staff has allowed them lower rates, and even allow them to have pets to help them out during the crisis (they are usually not pet friendly). The indoor pool is on the small side, and the rooms near the pool have to put up with the muggy chlorine smell. We have not tried out the indoor pool yet, so I have no comment on the temperature or cleanliness. The hotel room was not bad. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough for me. I really like the water pressure although my husband thought it was a little bit much. The refrigerator is a good size. I am used to smaller refrigerators so it was nice to see a bigger one. The house keeping staff start early, so we are not able to sleep in. We can hear them cleaning and talking loudly early in the morning hours before check out. On days we want to sleep in, we are unable to. There is no free breakfast, but they do have a buffet that you can pay for (no gluten free options). Overall, the hotel is not bad. It could use some updates and thorough cleaning. I am unsure right now if I will stay here again after our stay.

Great location not far off Gatlinburg's main strip, and the kid really liked their two tier heated pool. That aside, rooms need renovating and they heavily skimp on consumable amenities (glad I brought my own shampoo/soap). The kicker? I don't think anyone on the planet should have to put up with a woman at the front desk who for almost a full minute was playing with her phone while we politely stood right next to her counter waiting for service. WE had to ask her for her attention.

Great, convenient location. Breakfast wasn't included with our room, and we weren't informed of that until we checked in. Cozy rooms. Not the best lighting (but what hotel has that?) and pretty predictable bed/linen quality. Indoor pool is great, outdoor pool is as expected. Overall good bang for your buck, but you get what you pay for.

Relieved to find room was very clean. We booked Glenstone last minute and saw lots of mixed reviews. Yes some updates are needed around the property but rooms were very clean, staff was courteous and my son enjoyed the pool. Plenty of parking. Only negative was a slow draining tub but we didn't care enough to say anything. You can take the trolley or walk as we did to restaurants and shops. We stayed on the 3rd floor towards the back of the building w door outside (we requested away from pool area), it was quiet. Also a small plus was chair outside each room.

We had many issues regarding noise, such as hearing the people next door because the walls in the outside rooms were so thin and a fan outside of the room we switched to being too loud. However the service was great and we got our rooms switched and the prices brought down. The indoor pool was also very nice and although there were lots of kids, the pool was split up into different depths so the deep one was pretty spacious most of the time. Overall, the rooms themselves could've been a lot better but service was friendly and helpful.

No complaints here. Service was nice, facilities were clean, price was good, AND it was just close enough to town to walk in and see it all and walk back BUT far enough to where mostly all you heard at night was the beautiful creek behind their property. This place is oriented to families so don't expect a quiet romantic getaway, there's kids everywhere. But that's fine, if you want the quiet experience pay the nearly triple the price a night cabins.

Everything is all good, with one exception. I'd like to have a microwave in the room. There's a fridge with no way to reheat the food. There may be a microwave downstairs I could use, but I haven't looked yet. It was that way at another hotel I used.
Edit: Saw a roach on the wall last night. That may be the reason for no microwaves in the rooms. It looked like it was dying. It was very lethargic, and I had no problem killing it. It was even nice enough to let me get video and pictures of it.response / report this review
