A dated hotel with floors dedicated to housing the homeless. Stayed one night and the police were in and out looking for an armed robber. The room was old but clean though. Ok for one night.

The place is aging a bit. Room was clean and comfortable. Only 6 parking spaces in back, so had to get lucky with street parking. Convenient for a last night stay about a mile from JFK Airport.

It's a pretty decent hotel the only thing is that they have no bell boy
and it looks like a few homeless people hanging around outside

Concur with most others. Very little to say good other than the young lady on the desk who was very helpful. When I booked they advertised a shuttle but had discontinued this service in the meantime. Shady characters wander around the hallways and front at all times of the day and night. Never again.

The Garden Inn and Suites retains much of what was once a very plush and we'll appointed hotel. Lack of maintenance showed in the barrels that lined the lobby to catch the rain overflowing onto the floor. Of the two elevators, only one worked. The call buttons on the working unit malfunctioned, so you pressed the down button to get it. The room was actually very nice and clean. Air conditioning worked fine. .any of the furnishings in the bathroom reflected the former glory . The staff was available helpful and friendly. Should I need a place to stay at, I would find it acceptable. However I hope they can address the many small faults that result from inability to manage from current cash flow and

Bare bones. Toilet paper & Kleenex there but thin & rough. Coffee machine is a joke. Stains on carpets. We chose because close to JFK. Advertised they had free shuttle & free breakfast. Had neither. Said "we discontinued a couple of months ago." but still showed on their advertising. We took a "car service" they had to Manhattan & was ripped off. Cost us $25 less for taxi back & taxi even performed extra services of picking up our luggage & then proceeded to airport.

Pretty run:down, shady place. *No* airport shuttle, no room service. Pathetic "fitness center" with a treadmill and 1 (yes one) single dumbbell. Creaky, malfunctioning elevators with peeling paint. Suspicious, strange characters lurk around the outside of the hotel and in the lobby. Room had just electrical 1 socket, that could be shared round robin between the TV, coffee machine and lamps. Old run-down room with peeling paint and brown stained bathrooms. No free or paid breakfast - just a vending machine in the hotel. All this for $123 per night!
On the positive side, the front desk service was acceptable, and they had an [expensive] shuttle limo service to the airport ($222).

THIS DISGUSTING SLUM FOR HOMELESS CRIMINALS IS POORLY MAINTAINED WITH BROKEN AIR CONDITIONERS WHICH THE CHEAP JEW OWNERS DON'T FIX WITHOUT CARING THAT YOU'VE CALLED THE FRONT DESK 7 TIMES.

ABSOLUTE 88° ROOMS ARE NIGHTMARES! THE GUESTS STAY ONLY ON THE 5TH FLOOR BUT 350 HOMELESS MEN LIVE ON FLOORS 1, 2, 3 & 4.

THEY EXPLOIT THE NEEDY BY GIVING US SUPER OLD AND BROKEN DOWN ROOMS WHILE LEECHING IN THE TRUE MEANING OF JEWS THE BLOOD OF TAXPAYERS AT $250 PER PERSON AND SOME ROOMS (WHICH I STAYED IN) WERE LIKE 150 SQ. FT WITH TWO MEN, NO A/C AND THE STAFF TAKES AWAY FANS!!! IF YOU CARE ABOUT RIGHTEOUSNESS THEN BOYCOTT THESE SLUMLORDS!! I CERTIFY EVERYTHING HERE WITH MY OWN NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was 90F and air-conditioner was not working for the entire hotel. guest had to keep their windows open with bottles, constant buzzing of traffic, with crazy honking, felt like i was living in primitive conditions. felt nervous for my safety. the environment was uncomfortable and uninviting. added some pictures where simple things could have been improved but wasnt. The 'Free Shuttle Service' to the airport had been discontinued and we were only informed on check in. Parking lot wasn't really a parking lot. You will have to park next to a garbage dump within the compound. There was no signs and not accessible through the hotel building. The stairs around the parking was littered with trash. And I highly doubt i will ever return to this hotel.

Our stay here was necessary because our flight was cancelled last minute and this was close to the airport. The room was clean but pretty dated. The windows didn't shut completely which let all of the noise from the freeway right outside into the room. It also made it a little cold in the room. That said, the bed was comfy and we had an excellent meal at the nearby restaurant, The Door. Could be better, could be worse.

Stayed here due to a cancelled flight. Free breakfast in the morning, shuttle service to/from airport (in a large SUV, call hotel for pickup/drop offs every 30 min). Lots of takeout available for your room, no room service. Professional staff. Older rooms with updates, lots of freeway noise but comfy beds. It did fine for what we needed (not sleeping at the airport). We walked 0.8 miles to eat at The Door and that was well worth the stay in itself.

Fast shuttle service. Fast and polite check in. Comfortable room. Pretty good mattress. Very clean room. Nice toiletries. The A/C and heat worked well and kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Waffle and assortment of cereal. Shuttle back to airport delivered me to the terminal.
