Awesome hotel!! Great rooms, awesome breakfast and the lounge upstairs, where you can have a snack ans some wine or sodas if you want to. We spent the Christmas holidays thereit was the BEST choice ever! Adriana in the reception, made sure we felt like at home!! She is excellent in meeting customers’ needs! Oh, and our dogs stayed for free! I am really thankful we stayed there and we will be back, for sure!! :)
A caveat, we were stuck in NY after the great Atlanta airport fire. The rooms are well sized, but have rather thin walls. The Jets fly pretty close but they stop close to 11. The staff was incredibly accommodating. The morning breakfast is somewhat pricey for what you get.
I stayed at the Sheraton near JFK for 5 nights. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.
A very professional quiet clean affordable hotel. The view left a lot to be desired. However I enjoy that the shuttle takes me right to the JFK Airport. There's a restaurant there. I really enjoyed my stay.
Staff were awesome. We were flying back to Hawaii so left hotel at 7 am in.which case they provided our entire tour group of 24 a complimentary, generous snack to go package. They also bake their own cookies and available in lobby in the afternoons. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.
Decent. Nothing special. Pretty nice size workout room. No fridge. Pretty small TVs but nothing terrible about it either.
My flight to JFK from YQB got delayed for 6 hours so automatically i missed my connecting flight back to LA. Thanks to Delta Airlines who gave me free voucher staying one night at Sheraton JFK. There's a free shuttle bus from Federal Circle station (the driver was super nice) to the hotel that goes frequently but after mid night you need to call and ask front desk to pick you up. The room, bathroom and towels were very clean. Overall, everything was great starting from check in to check out. There was nothing i can complain about :)
A true taste of NYC, you're price gouged immediately. Airport inspired prices at the bar, $19 breakfast no better than motel 6. And $30 a day parking. No microwave or mini fridge in the room, decoration straight out of 1999. King size bed feels like a stack of loosely stacked papers, sheets are rough to the touch. But the staff is friendly and professional. Anymore than 2 days here I'd be fed up.
The room was extremely clean, the shower worked awesome. It was a very strong stream and it was a walk-in shower rather than with a bathtub which I loved. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The area around the hotel isn't much to look at but inside the hotel was like an oasis
The staff here was very friendly and helpful, no issues during our meetings, but apparently a few days before we got there a storm caused features on the building to come crashing down on people and cars in the parking lot. The lot was closed to parking and we had to park in a different area, on side streets. The neighbor hood seems sketchy after sundown. Still, great rooms and a great stay. Manhattan is a 20min metro bus ride + a 30 min train ride away. Super easy and cheap commute to the city.
Always great rooms and service at the Sheraton but I think this one has a homeless shelter nearby because there were a few of the residence outside when I parked and the following morning one was in the computer room and lobby. I also feel like having the guess pay to park is over the top. Would not recommend this particular Sheraton.
The hotel had the basics. Maintenance could and should have been improved, as there was dust over most of the in room amenities. When we called housekeeping, they did not pick up the phone the first six times. When they finally picked up, we asked for towels but never received them. Other than this, it was a decent hotel.
Convenient location. Good staff. Well managed.
A little less spacious and grim lobby.
If you get it for 150 or less per night incl everything it's worth it.
I went to the hotel for a meeting. The hotel has very limited parking. As a matter of fact, when I got there the parking lot was closed off even though there were no vehicles on the lot. My meeting was in the basement. The room was clean and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful in helping me to locate my meeting room. I would recommend this hotel.
Large, comfy rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Free 24/7 shuttle. Good food. Close to JFK. What's not to like?
