Wow and wow. Moved from Denver a month ago. Been looking for some Mexican food. This place has the taste I was missing. If you like Mexican food come here. It's all made fresh daily. The chef came out and visited with me.

Mex food expectations are low in the Burgh. This place is better than most. What sets it apart is the bar area and service level. Everyone is always friendly and it is very kid friendly. Not a big place so can get very crowded with a long wait at peak times. But if you crave Mex food then this is the spot in these parts.

Greatest Mexican food. Salsa is the best with just the right sing. Margaritas in mason jars. Best Margarita I ever had. Everything was great for everyone in our group of 6.

Great food and margaritas. The wings are delectable! Nice homey, quaint atmosphere; only complaint is it's small and always busyso waiting is a thing.

The best Mexican food I've since moving up here from Texas. It's a small place that can get a bit crowded, but once your food shows up you won't care how close you are to the next table. The staff was very friendly throughout our visit as well.

I used to really love this place for a long time but as of recently I had two bad experiences and have not returned since. But before I get into that I do want to say the margaritas are out of this world!
Bad experience number one was dramatically dry beans when I went with my sister and we didn't think too much of it because typically we had a great time. The salsa portion with our chips was very small too.
Number two I ordered the mole and it was sickeningly sweet, even for my sister who has a sweet tooth. I had her try it to make sure I wasn't insane. Anyways i didn't eat more than one bite and the bite my sister took. Waiter comes back he was a bit sketchy seeming definitely a new hire and asked why I haven't eaten that much. I told him it was too sweet for me and I have had mole in the past it was never that sweet. He said mole is always sweet and did not even ask if I wanted to order something else. It wasn't until he asked if I wanted a box that I asked to speak to the manager because obviously I didn't want a box for food I wasn't going to eat! He said he would get him and forty five minutes had passed still nothing. He claimed he was in an interview and told him about the situation and said he would deal with it after. At this point my sister and I were annoyed and ready to leave so we decided we would wait fifteen more minutes so this would be an hour of waiting just for that. He never came out and the waiter said he couldn't do anything about the situation for me. So I paid for a meal that I did not even eat or enjoy and never went back. First time customer. Very friendly server. Everything I ordered looked and tasted great. Fresh veggies, guacamole was fantastic and I couldn't really ask for a better experience. Will be back. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for Mexican food off the beaten path look no further.

This place has gotten more consistent over the last couple years, and that's a good thing. Good food, good drinks, friendly service.

Too small not enough room to move around. Ordered margarita during happy hour and got charged regular price. Said something to management was told to ask next time about specials. How about let people know your specials! Will not return
