It's cute. There's a little playground, walking trails, waterfront seating and grills. We only walked around for a little while, but I look forward to going back to walk more and enjoy nature. :)

Love this park! Trails, Geo Catching, and semi-modern. Great Christmas activity as well

Lots of history. Loved it!! Short walk back to the old fort where only a small portion of wall remains standing. Just beautiful.

Quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Be with nature and all its beauty. There are trails, a playground, pavilion, BBQs, and sometimes canoe rentals.

Plenty of easy hiking with trail heads at the central parking lot. Picnic and restroom facilities are clean and well maintained.

8/15/2017 Edit: I'm keeping the review at 5/5 stars because the park really is delightful. However, summer visitors be warned that the park is perfect habitat for ticks. Take proper precautions like wearing long sleeves/pants and be sure to check for ticks when you get home. Between the 3 of us (2 humans and 1 dog) we found 4 ticks from our 4 hour visit.

I adore this park! Always very clean, although you should make sure to bring $3 in cash to get inside.

Great family park! It has a great old fashion play ground complete with a merry-go-round! (My step kids have never seen one) very quiet and peaceful, they have grills and picnic tables throughout the park. Reminds me of the parks back in my daythere is plenty of room for the family or a large group. Clean restrooms and changing rooms, as well as an outside shower. And looks like canoe rentals. All and all I found it a great place to visit and will definitely return.

Hidden gem of Inverness. We rented the pavilion for a family reunion and it was fantastic. The park rangers were very kind and helpful.

I pass this Park a lot when I ride on the Withlaoochee State Trail so I went into the Park this time. Paved road all the way through the Park but the trails off the paved road are mixed. Some are old Limerock and are OK for a Mountain bike and some are sand. Nice lake and hiking trails. Fee area..
