An ok place but nothing you will want to go back to. The renovations on second and ground floor still not complete. The third floor room (317) clean but really showing it's age. No internet service really kind of hacked me off. This is a very loose run operation I would avoid it and for that matter all of Cedar Key.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were good. Cedar Key was impacted by recent hurricanes and this location was still showing signs of that. These are local establishments, so if you are expecting Hilton suites you may be disappointed. Small, finishing touches could have elevated our stay - no handle on the shower water selector, limited towels, rusty fridge, etc. Overall, still a good place to stay.

Didn't go 4-5 stars only because renovation not complete. All lower level rooms and restaurant not open. 3 floor room with loft updated and clean. Balcony looking out on water and cedar key strip. Great location 2 minute walk to town. Easy kayak launch from property. Paddling this area is amazing, with great fishing.

The place was amazing. Full kitchen and wrap around gulf view from the patio. Beautiful pool and great friendly service. Walking distance to everything. And beach was right there.

Cedar Key was a last minute decision taking the long way home from Destin. This was the first hotel that we came to (side note as we pulled in we noticed that there was a 3 day minimal stay) we decided to give it a shot anyhow and we were so glad we did. The manager was very friendly, had no problem letting us stay only 2 nights in the 1 room they had left which was in the process of being cleaned. The room was not only super clean but also beautiful with a great view. There were parts of the hotel that were still under construction from damage that had been after the last hurricane and still our stay there was great. We plan to return to Cedar Key and to the Cedar Cove Hotel.

We visited Mon-Fri so it was very quite and cozy. I particularly love the top floor rooms with vaulted ceilings. Our room had a full kitchen, dishwasher, full fridge, and full bath. Walking distance to all sorts of restaurants and shops. Friendly staff. Building is under some renovations but was not a terribly inconvenience. Laundry machines available and swimming pool.

One of my favorite hotels. Great staff, clean rooms and plenty to do within walking distance.

Wonderful small island, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico is how you spend your night. You can prepare your meals in room.

We stayed here one night and the only thing wonderful was the view. We did have an incredible view on two sides of our room. However, the rest of the room was pretty sad. There was a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fan; the mattress in the bed was very saggy. We also had a sleep sofa in our room but it was placed so close to the end of our bed that there is no way it would've opened--good thing we didn't need it. We couldn't enjoy our balcony because of many smokers out on theirs; also there was loud music until late into the night from the restaurants down the street . The sink and the tub: neither had stoppers. To take a bath I had to plug the drain with a washcloth. One end of the closet clothes bar was tied up with a plastic grocery bag. This room had possibilities but just was not maintained.

We stayed overnight for a short get-away. We stayed in a loft style room that felt more like a home than a hotel. The room even had books and board games to make it more homey. There was a large bathroom and nice little kitchen area stocked with dishes and glasses. There was a nice view from our balcony to see the bay. Watched the sunrise from the balcony and watched the sunset from the end of the street. The park and little beach area is right next door. We walked to the shops and restaurants.

Had a great experience. Large clean room, loved the view, nice kitchen/bathroom. Front desk was gracious & helpful even over the Christmas holiday. Hope to see it once the hurricane repairs are done!
