This review concerns the Historic Hernando County Courthouse facing Main Street as opposed to the newer more modern structures directly behind it. This building constructed in 1913 and designed by an Atlanta architect is a focal point for Downtown Brooksville and Hernando County in general. Complete with war memorials, grand old oak trees and beautiful well maintained grounds. Well worth a visit for any traveler seeking our historic past.

Parking is terrible!!!! Over an hour to find a parking spot. I advise you arrive VERY EARLY or you might miss your court appearance. 😡😡😡😡😡

Love the activities planned here to bring the community together. Check out the musical Christmas trees in the front during the Holidays. The main government center is in the back, behind the old building.

I've not has much at all to do with this courthouse.in the past the public defenders office actually has most everything under control.my son walked out.no..charges.not enough info..thank you for his freedom.

I love Brooksville and Hernando, County, FL. I believe Hernando County is the Best County in all of Florida. Very friendly and a Hometown feel. The Best County to raise your family. With lots of things to do every day. Great American History in this County.

This place is an absolute joke. They may as well get rid of their automated phone service for traffic because even when it's actually dead inside the building no one EVER answers the phone for calls waiting and it automatically puts you on hold before even attempting to ring in and just leaves you there indefinitely constantly saying all reps are currently busy when they're damn well not. Waste of time. What's the point of having that function if no one actually does their job and answers calls because I sure don't want to drive there and deal with this place, I'd rather do it over the phone, and the website is just as bad. No records of your citation number or case numbers even when you know they're in the system and have been there before. Total joke.
