  First I have been bringing my best friends to Farrells since I was a child. I am not 64. Last experience was Chloe my 6 yr. old female cat. I know she had dental problems but didn't know how bad. She was treated by Dr. Gaines and Heather on Aug. 21. They took excellent care of her and kept her overnight so I could move. Just wanted you all to know that she is much more active now and plays with her toys like a kitten. She played before but not like this. After having 6 extractions and being treated with antibioticts she is feeling much better. She healed quickly. Thank you for taking such good care of my best friend. Sorry I didn't see Dr. Turner to say HI but please pass that along. I know he remembers all be babies, but especially Shiloh.

  Farrell Animal Hospital is the most wonderful place to take your babies for veterinary care. I have been taking my 2 little mixed breed girls to Dr. Turner for about 1 ½ years. I am always amazed at how kind and gentle he and his staff are when they do exams, shots, or anything else that is necessary to care for them. The girls are never afraid to go in the front door or back to the room. I know that means that they sense the love of everyone who works there.
  
  About a month ago my oldest girl, Casey, exhibited some strange behavior. I took her to see Dr. Turner who noted an elevated glucose level. He kept her about 4 days and started her on insulin and a special diet. She seemed fine but he had her come back every couple of days to make sure the level was within a normal range. Heather gave me very clear and helpful instructions on how to give the insulin and even let me give a practice shot with saline to be sure I could do it when we got home.
  
  Casey’s glucose kept running too high and Dr. Turner hospitalized her and did some testing. It was determined that she also had pancreatitis which was keeping the glucose elevated. They kept her there for about 9 days. Some of the time was on IV fluids to calm the pancreas. All the while they very carefully observed, medicated, tweaked the medications and loved her. They even went in over the weekend to perform glucose tests, give insulin and meds, feed and walk her. Dr. Turner himself called me most days to give me updates. If he didn’t call, one of his staff did. If I called before they did, the receptionist would find out her status and let me know. She came home yesterday and seems like her old self. While she is happy to be home, she was obviously very comfortable in her “home away from home” and her friends at Farrell’s.
  
  I have had the most contact with Dr. Turner, Heather, Kristin, Rebekah, and Robyn. Words can’t adequately describe the level of their kindness and caring. Everyone else I have talked with or even seen there without having contact is always smiling and seems to genuinely love being there. These folks have truly found their calling in caring for animals and their owners. I can’t thank you enough.
