We took my nieces barrel horse to kinder to see dr Harvey. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. A mobile vet hospital. Each member of the team had a job and they did their jobs great. They were very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. I was very observant of the ongoings around me while we waited for our turn. Dr Harvey was and his team were on the ball very thoroughly checking the whole horse not just where owners were telling them were the horse hurt. And this was at a barrel racing, so there was so much going on around the set up spot for the vet. But he was able to be aware of his surroundings and stay very focused on the horse he was checking. Roany got a back injection as a procaitionary treatment, said it was probably just a twicked back muscle from slipping on the second barrel. But the prep they spent on sterilizing roany’s back for the injection also impressed me. Ascrubbed him for 20 minutes with different antiseptics. Over all we spent 4 hrs on and off with the vet and his team bc it was a process. Take X-ray wait for X-rays to process talk about what he saw in them. And developed a treatment plan then execute it. I know this was wordy. But long review short this is the best vet team I have ever met. Wish I was closer to practice he would be my vet for everything for sure.
Dr Harvey truly loves horses, extremely knowledgeable, great surgeon, gentle hand with horses and good bedside manner with owners. He and his staff went above and beyond taking care of my horses over the years. His prices are reasonable/fair.
Had a horse vet checked at outlaw equine. Horse had what looked like bite marks all over him. Vet said nothing about it so I asked. He said they were bite marks and they would heal.
1 month later I contracted ringworm and realize he had ringworm. Since I didn't quarantine the horse he spread it to my other gelding.
Total night mare and cost me another $2,000 to cure when this horse was vet checked from outlaw equine.
Was charged for treatment without consent and many services on bill were not even performed.
Outlaw Equine is the elite equine vet! Their level of professionalism shows in every aspect of what they do.
Josh Harvey, this man is amazing, passionate, and extremely dedicated to what he does. He does not give up without a fight.
We brought our Belgian Draft in due to choking, late (9pm) on a Sunday night to the ICU.
After hours of tirelessly trying to evacuate the contents from her esophagus, Dr. Harvey got to the root of the problem. She had a grass blockage. The outlook was grim as was explained to us and that likely we should not expect to see her again. At this time, (midnight) we left and were told she would be monitored through the night and they would try again tomorrow.
Dr. Harvey was able to remove the blockage and saved our horse. We cannot say enough good things about Josh Harvey and his team at OE.
THANK YOU for being amazing at what you do!!
This is where champions go.
