Stayed here for 6 days. Very clean very nice employees. Really enjoyed my time here. Shuttle to the metro is extremely useful.

This hotel is awesome. The lobby was fresh and inviting and they literally have a bowl of fruit at the front desk. I can tell it's been updated recently, but it didn't have that, "we needed to rush to get finished" feel about it.

But I do have some dings. The biggest is that the smoking area is to the immediate left of the front entrance. There's nothing I enjoy more than to walk my kids through clouds of second hand smoke to come through the main entrance of a hotel. Second and third ding is the lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the room we had.

The free parking is great. Food for a large professional event is significantly better than average. Location is very easy to get to. More people / groups should consider this place for events.

I've never seen so many cockroaches within a 2 week period. Place is filthy and outdated. I saw a waitress in the resturant with a blood stain on her undershirt. Very unkempt and smelly. The food they serve is rotten and got people sick. A couple of times the same menu items were actually delicious and fresh, but the inconstancy was astounding.

Definitely not worth 150 dollars a night. The rooms do not have microwaves. The phone, coffee maker, and refrigerator in my room were ALL broken and/ or very dirty, and it was a hassle to get them replaced.

However, the front desk staff were very warm and friendly.

The room smelled strongly of smoke. The front desk staff quickly switched my room. That room also smelled of smoke but it was bearable. Otherwise it was a good overnight stay.

This place has the most amazing staff! I had a minor issue with my room & they went above and beyond to make sure the rest of my stay was as wonderful and comfortable as possible. The breakfast is good! The portion of salad from room service was little small considering the price, but was very fresh & just the right amount of dressing on the side! Thank you for making my stay as comfortable and clean as you did! AMAZING JOB STAFF & FACULTY!

Everything was good except for hidden charges. Booking made through Travelocity and hotel denied honoring inclusions stating they don't care for what's sold for their property through "Third Party".
You own your business and engage those third parties to increase your business. You need to sort it out with your booking channels and not leave it end customer bear the burden.

Excellent hotel for my weekend stay. I had a room with breakfast included. Breakfast was very good, with eggs, a selection of meats, plus waffle and omelet stations. Fresh fruits were perfectly ripe. Shuttle to Metro was convenient for running into the city. Nice, quiet, room to return to at night.

The staff was very friendly. Even with 2 small children who can be loud and crazy at times the staff was always welcoming. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the staff there was excellent as well. The food at the restaurant was amazing. This is one if the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in.

I would give 0 star if I could after this nightmare. In summary, room door was opened by unknown person at 1:30AM. Immediately reported to front desk but little attention was paid by both security and MANAGER. Couldn't fall asleep after this. Horrible and terrifying.

Detail: at midnight, it was quiet and dark in our room. We were woken up by the sound from door unlocking, and saw light shining in. For ~2 sec, the door was shut gently. Fortunately we had the door secured by chain lock. Don't know who and why. If it were a guest who somehow mistakenly opened the door, I'd imagine he/she'd push the door all the way until stuck by chain lock. I'd hear it clearly in this case.

We immediately reported to front desk and a security was sent to us. He changed the electronic lock. He also checked the room log and said nothing wrong. We asked him to do more investigation but he REFUSED because "he is busy"; this was exactly what he said. Leaving me completely shocked.

We talked to the manager about this issue when checking out. She asked a day shift security to help us out. Again, nothing's got resolved. What's more annoying was that the manager didn't even try to understand what happened. She was just sitting far away on her desk doing something else. Completely inattentive. We were horrified and sick of this place, so just left the hotel to stop all these from ruining our weekend DC trip.

I used to enjoy Marriott during vacation and business trips; it was a reliable brand. NOT ANYMORE after this experience. Seriously, every time I see Marriott it reminds me that terrifying experience. The management of Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park was very questionable.

The lobby was well decorated and welcoming. I found the staff to be accommodating and friendly. The bar/restaurant area was dimly lit, giving a lounge-y vibe. Everything was clean. The parking lot, however, left much to be desired. Otherwise, it's not far off the interstate and located in a quiet area.
