I want to give special thanks to Kevon Matthews who checked us in at the the Marriott on 2305 New York Avenue,Washington DC last Saturday and was very knowledgeable, professional and made the proper arrangements that was necessary to help our stay be as comfortable and previously planned as possible. It was busy their and he handled every customer I had seen with a professional attitude and a nice greet to them. The breakfast was good and the security officer that was their for the weekend, she was very nice as well.
I also had a chance to meet the general manager Mr. Randall and he was also professional and checked us out. Thank you

Great location, and beautiful decor but I don't think I will be staying here again. First my MasterCard refused to allow check in to go through. When I called my banking institution I was told by them that it was not them but MasterCard. The reason Mastercard would not allow me to use it to check in was because Fairfield Inn had fraudulent activity. When my bank told this to the hotel manager he denied it, which she explained was not directed at this particular hotel but the chain, the manager still denied it and even argued with the bank. Second the hotel did not have an ATM so I had to walk to a gas station to get money for check in. Then after an hour and a half, I get checked in and finally get to my room and the lady who checked me in gave me the card with my room number on it and supposedly my room keys, and there was no key!!! Now extremely upset and completely exhausted I am faced with dragging my stuff back down stairs to get the key. The manager again denies that this happened and in my opinion called me a liar. I was totally shocked by this treatment and felt violated and discriminated against. I can say that Fairfield Inn is not going to be in my list of great and favorite places to stay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel offered a lot of amenities. I was only there for a short trip on business, so I didn't use any of them but it was nice to know that they were offered. Their breakfast has greatly improved from what it used to be. That was one of the biggest draws for me

The staff are carrying this review! 5 stars for the really amazing, accommodating, attentive staff. Everyone always says hi and asks you how you are doing. Rooms we nice and very clean, plenty of space in the suite. We did not go in the pool or hot tube but it looked clean, albeit small. The fitness room was okay, either the machine worked and the matching tv didn't or vice versa, but no big deal.

You get what you pay for. The rooms the very nice and clean. My only complaint is the breakfast rush in the weekend morning when unfortunately things broke and caused a little bit of a mess. Im pretty sure that it was just bad luck. This place is best especially for people attending echo stage events.

I was surprised how nice the hotel was on the inside and how clean it was and the room was great too. The area is a little eh. But if you're planning on going to a show at Echostage this is a very short walk from it and not a bad option. You do have to pay $15 per car for parking just so you know but the place was nice. The hot tub was nice and very hot.

This hotel has surpassed my expectations. The free breakfast is amazing, the staff are all very friendly, the hotel is very clean. Getting a complimentary shuttle into union station is very helpful and much appreciated. There are a few fast food restaurants within easy walking distance. The indoor pool isn't very large, but still enjoyable with a good sized jacuzzi!

My daughter went on a field trip with her class. She came home with bumps all over her legs. It ended up spreading to me, my husband and her 6 year old brother. We went to the dr. As soon as possible. She was infested with scabies! Now the whole family has it! So sad!!

Very comfortable place. Serves good breakfast and a friendly staff. And not too far from the National Mall area and the Union Station, both about 15 minutes by car.

We came here to visit a friend who was staying here. The rooms at this hotel were clean, attractive, and unusually roomy for the price. There seem to be a quite a few of the customary amenities. I think my only downside with the hotel is that the entrance was not well marked and easy to miss and exiting was one way the wrong way out onto New York Avenue. But otherwise this seems like a good hotel.

The rooms were decent. The staff was really nice. Me and a co-worker stayed there for the day. They called us a cab to the Amtrak train station. For some reason the taxi didn't show up. The manager and the man at the front desk went outside and flagged another cab for us. How awesome is that???
