Love this place. Breakfast buffet has better spread than the average American hotel. Near Subway lines. Safe. Especially when in New York. You want affordable clean and safe!

Quite good hotel to spend one-two nights. No bottled water in rooms, however decent breakfast. Located in 3 minutes walk from the subway.

Good price, Great hotel but with a broken heater and a TV that doesn't work this five star turns into a three. Hopefully they fixed the drain that didn't work in the shower this morning? The service and staff was top notch and everything was clean other then I found euros on the floor so obviously there was neglect with the vacuuming. And the room was broken! Ez fix and actually way better then the other sister hotel we stayed at in Brooklyn.

The breakfast is nice. Most of the rooms smell like cigarette smoke but the janitors can clean that up if you don't get used to it after a day or so. Beds are nice, TV is cool, but that's really all you're getting here. If you need a place to sleep in for a week, though, this is a good choice.

Attentive staff got some minor repairs fixed quickly. Parking is $30 daily as of review. However, car is easy in and out and it’s a relief given the congestion of this neighborhood. Breakfast always seems super busy, so go early. A comfortable and reliable hotel in this neighborhood.

The controls for the AC didn't work and the unit kept blasting cold air in an already cold room, so I had to turn off the unit entirely. An elevated subway line is close to the hotel so you can hear in your room when the subway pass by. The hotel is only 20 minutes from Manhattan by subway. Free breakfast with nice variety.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast is free and pretty good. Support staff at the breakfast and room cleaning team is very polite too. Overall great customer service.

Only downside is the room size. Its definitely not worth the price we pay per night.

Connectivity is a big plus. 5 min walk to Queens plaza station and 5 Ave station which connects to downtown Manhattan and Time Square. Safe locality and 15 min to LGA airport. There is a 7 Eleven close by which is open 24 hrs.

Location is close to Manhattan with easy access to Subway. The cost was reasonable. The breakfast buffet is good. Our room was clean and modern. Having cold water infused with citrus fruit in the lobby is a big plus. One drawback is that there aren't shops or restaurants near the hotel.

Stayed here 3 weeks ago. Close to subway. Double paned windows so you don't really hear the trains. Very clean. Our refrigerator was warm and it took two days to get fixed. Good place to stay. Good breakfast.

Excellent Fairfield with great rates and easy access to NYC. The N, R, and W Subway lines are very close by and while the area isn't pretty (currently lots of construction), it was perfectly safe. We wandered around the area at different times and never had any problems. There is a pizza place within walking distance.

We stayed here with our five children (ages 12 to 20) and found the two rooms smaller than average but large enough to fit all seven of us and our luggage comfortably. Actually bigger than a lot of NYC hotels. Our rooms had two doubles, a very small wardrobe (no closet) and came with mini fridges. The bathrooms were clean and good sized for NYC. (Bigger than the Fairfield in Chelsea). Breakfast was always crowded but the staff worked diligently to keep it stocked and the selection was above average for a Fairfield (eggs, sausage, waffles, protein bar, etc). Very little hallways noise and all the other guests were polite. All the staff is outstanding!

Holy moly are the staff friendly and helpful here! The rooms are cozy and inviting. Breakfast has a large and tasty variety of foods. And there are cookies at the front desk in the afternoon! We highly recommend this hotel!

What a pleasant surprise! Staying in an affordable hotel in an outer burough can sometimes be risky - but sometimes you find a real gem. This hotel was most convenient - in my short stay, I needed easy access to Manhattan (about 20 minutes) as well as to Jamaica station (also about 20 minutes) to connect with both LIRR for my job interview in Long Island and the AirTrain to JFK. All the staff that I encountered were extremely accommodating and made me feel so welcomed, from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. And I loved loved loved the complimentary cookies and coffee bar - I got myself a hot chocolate every night :-) There is a train that runs beside the hotel - but it's a trade-off in NYC, it's either quiet way out in the suburbs or convenience in the city (and I would much rather hear a train periodically here than stay in Manhattan and listen all night to horns, sirens, and screams). I loved this Long Island City location so much, I'm considering apartments here if my job interview was successful :-)

The rooms are very nice and clean, small space but hey you are here to sleep and visit this Big City right? The bathroom is very spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating.
