The continental/grab and go breakfast is Quaker Oatmeal packets and nothing else. The wifi was unavailable for the first night during my stay. It seemed that almost every door in the building slams. This woke my room up many times in the very early morning. I would estimate I heard the door slam nearly 10 times during my first morning. The room does have a full refrigerator and freezer which is nice. Also the room had a 2 burner stove top and microwave.
Easy to find. Very accommodating. Staff was super friendly! Would definitely stay again!
Extended Stay America is my choice chain for travel. Who else always has a full-size fridge cooled for your comfort groceries? Whether it be a case of beer, lunch meat, a carton of eggs, ice cream, or a TV dinner, there's a cold fridge or freezer waiting to help you keep your familiar comforts at hand.
In addition, the room layouts and amenities are very consistent. The only reason for 4 stars, this location forgot a spare roll of toilet paper in my room.
Worst hotel I ever experienced. The front desk employee (Cornish Whitney) was behaved like an animal. We had four room reserved but the employee didn't honor our reservation. She called the Police and took us out of the hotel. Our assumption was they sold our room with higher price and got us out of the hotel. The behavior we experienced like we were in stone age and might is right. We couldn't find anybody civilized there. We(Fourteen people group including Children) drove all way from NYC to Buffalo (all night driving) to visit Niagra Falls, exhausted, tired and hungry and we booked the hotel more than a week ago and confirmed couple of times but when we reached there the hotel thrown us away. What a nightmare! Every where was overbooked, very hard to find a hotel room.We finally managed a dirty and filthy Motel with high price and somehow passed that night there. I couldn't comment on the Owner side of Extended Stay America Hotel but the employee might be there animal.
Good for one night stay…
We were on the way to Niagara Falls and we stayed here for one night. We checked in very late so we had to some person to come over counter and do business with us.
All Extended Stay properties offer you good value, large rooms with full kitchens that are relatively clean. Staff offer very basic service - do not expect them to smile or be friendly. This place allows pets, so be aware of barking and possible animal hair in your room. The room is rather spacious and has a full kitchen - very convenient. My room was clean very well and no smell at all which my friend faced in other room.
The included breakfast is Quaker Oats and coffee. The property is located at the end of a dead end street so it is a quiet location with no highway or traffic noise
Nice enough room but the floors were not clean & the sheets were stained. Also had 2 different kinds of pillows on the bed (1 feather & 1 fiber filled- both of them flat). My husband & I ended up buying cheap sheets & pillows from Wal-Mart for this stay. Also was not impressed the to go breakfast: granola bars & prepackaged muffins. Liked that there was a place to do laundry though & a kitchenette with full fridge was great to have.
We got 2 non smoking rooms. Everything was good except it does not have elevator. Breakfast was ok. But navigating to this place was bit difficult.
We were expecting a non-smoking room, but got a smoking room.
The room was extremely smelly - probably the cigarette/smoke smell, also room was not clean. Seen some used toilet papers in the trash in the toilet. Which was disgusting. When we asked for another room, the receptionist was not ready to show another room. When we asked to cancel the booking, she was not ready to cancel, finally charged for one day. Also lights were not working in the room. Also in the lobby area, it was dark.. Looks like a haunted hotel.. needs lot of changes in the hotel to get some normal customers.
Staff were friendly. Room was in good condition. AC unit didn't work the best but wasn't bad enough to complain. Did not make it in time for breakfast so I cannot comment on it. Would stay again as long as the price is low as there are no frills here.
Budget hotel that attracts a mix of clientele. Staff are friendly. Breakfast offerings are very limited and wouldn't qualify as breakfast to most folks. Rooms are starting to show wear. Cleanliness was in question in our room.
The rooms are nothing special but mine was very clean. Some of the people that stay there are a bit sketchy so it made me a little uncomfortable but I'm not surprised by the price I paid. There's no food on site and no room cleaning unless you stay 8+ days. That's no complaint just an fyi.
A nice quaint location,. The rooms are like in any hotel/ motel I've been too, style and design similar. Most importantly it was clen.
We had a nice stay. Rooms and beds are comfortable, however they do not clean your room unless you stay for a minimum of 8 days. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Michael is a top top staff member who went out of his way to make sure everything was fine. Whitney at the front desk was always smiley and helpful. I hope you guys have a chance to grow with corporate.
