We certainly enjoyed our time together at the park. Some went swimming at the beach. Just wish they had more water hooked up.

Great park and beach!.. Beautiful place to camp and go for a bike ride. Camp sites are very spacious and mostly secluded

The rolling hills and beautiful views of Hamlin Beach are possibly the best in Rochester. Area 1 has swings, Area 3 and 4 are swimming, and Area 5 is perfect for picnics and relaxing. Worth the drive to Hamlin!

Great state park right on lake ontario. Great to bike, walk or just hang on one of their beaches. The camping here is also really nice. Many semi-private spots with a real family feel.

Rented west shelter in area 4 for Birthday Party. Was great. Park police patrolling. Park was clean, bathrooms clean. There was some orange stuff on the grass tho, that got all over everyone's shoes.

Larger than expected with huge beach front. Like a lot of state parks bathrooms / showers could use an update but then again you are camping. We will definitely be back

Bathrooms are generally clean, but can be sandy as it is a beach area. Each bathroom has a "Locker room" that I'm pretty sure it's just locked all the time and just for show. Men's bathrooms have the floor reaching urinals so your young child has the benefit of peeing on the floor, that's always fun for them. Also the beaches are typically kept nice and there's plenty of picnic areas and playgrounds. Also camping i guess, if that's your thing.

Located on Lake Ontario's coast, the location is hard to beat. Campsite fees are a bit steep and if you need to purchase firewood after the campground store closes, you'll need to drive a few miles into town.

Nice place to walk along the lake. Haven't cleaned up after storms yet. Would be nice place for a family day n bbq.

For the size of the beaches, and some protected. The area that a person is pathetic. Small rope'd off areas, three lifeguards on and tiny little swimming areas. Open it up let us enjoy more water area here. It's a beautiful park with beautiful beaches.

I absolutely love this beach. I've only had one issue and it is the other day I went there and the beach had not been worked. It was like laying on concrete. Other than that, it is clean and beautiful. There are plenty of places to have events that will leave you with lasting pleasant memories. I love that when you go swimming the water isn't full of sea weed which I hate. So, if you're looking for a beautiful place to visit, swim, grill out, play beach volleyball, or just chill. this is the place.
