Roaches, dirty, worn out! I got what I paid for! I’m sorry that is wrong also. I was charged for two rooms for a week and I wasn’t even there! This happened after I had got a room at another motel.

The place tends to get frequent visits from the police; it seems to be a sort of ghetto for the elderly and drug addicts of the area, when they can't afford their own home, or they lose their own places to live. The residents aren't allowed to talk to those in the hotel section, due to insurance purposes, or penalties accrue. It's not a good place to live, but ok for a very temporary place to exist.

Stay away!! First thing was the arrogant attitude when checking in for a two night stay. Came down from South Carolina to visit a friend. The rooms smell. No wifi. Police were here three times that I was aware of during my two night stay. My car was hit while parked by a drunk driver who was living here. I was told by front desk not to park in the back after that because only people who live here can park next to their rooms. Like it was my fault my car was hit while parked. Saw a women walking around out front who seemed to be a lady of the night, if you get my drift. Then heard gossip that two people were recently shot and killed here over a possible bad drug deal. Pay the extra few dollars at another local hotel/motel. Stay far away from this place, terrible experience

Room had indoor-outdoor carpeting and was highly stained. Bugs walk right into your room from the outside and through gaps in floor molding. Ceiling in bathroom was poorly installed and caused several leaks and there were other leaks across the back ceiling to the room. I found dried out food behind my bed the first night. Probably from Little Caesars who pawns off there dead pizzas on the tenants. Telephone never worked and was not replaced. Air Conditioner worked inconsistently. Could not keep consistent temperature. Lighting was poor. Light over sink was faulty. Bathtub had chips. Staff fills in chips with cement. Doesn't work with enamel or porcelain. Sink was cracked and eventually developed a hole from attempting to clean. Refrigerator was faulty and not tended too. Staff was cordial but unfriendly. Pool was always under repair and unsafe. Both my grandchildren went to ER though they were just trying to step into the water and slipped on tile. Bottom of pool was always flaking and water was powdery.
I do not believe I have ever stayed in such a poorly operated Motel.
Sheriff's Department was on site most nights dealing with drug busts. Several murders have occurred past three months plus inside several of the rooms including the One I stayed in. Everybody asking me were I was staying replied with a disgusted "OH, THERE" This place is clearly not a place to stay.

Mrs Ford the manager runs a quiet safe place. The rooms are clean. The prices of rooms a reasonable for the area.

My wife and I checked into the hotel and the people were nice at first then they turned on me. My neighbor made up a whole bunch of lies and got the hotel to get me kicked off the property. They told family jobs and churches lies about my wife and I and don't like the outcome of it. I just wanted to be there with my baby mama . She doesn't know anyone here in Milton fl. They wanted me trespassed. Feel like they are kinda racist. A lady at the front desk named Amanda looked at me in my face in front of my wife and said she knows we didn't do anything wrong that I just cant be on the property. So messed up. Im a godly man and take care of my family. I feel like the hotel manager Ms Charlene should give me another chance.

There is a girl that works in the office in the mornings and she is the nicest person ever, I don't know her name, she has long red hair and I think she mentioned that she was pregnant, she is always happy and I really like seeing her when I go for a morning coffee, so a shout-out to her she makes the experience that much better thanks for being there :)

I loved my stay! Front desk was really nice and took real good care of my family and I. The young pregnant girl was just so sweet always smiling and remembered my name, from when I called and made my reservation. House keeping did a great job also! My room was very clean and they made it a point to have clean towels everyday. But it's not far from beaches and really affordable. I will be staying there again!!

Disgusting!!! Very stinky and dirty. Had large blood stains in the carpet. There were people hanging around outside most of the night. Paid for a week but after the first night I didn't feel safe or clean so we relocated and management wouldn't refund any of it. Will never go back! Just disgusting!!

This is an older motel/apartment complex conveniently located on Highway 90 near the intersections with Highways 87 and 89 in Milton, FL. It is currently being renovated room-by-room but this construction is quiet and unobtrusive. My FIVE-STAR rating is based on the Emerald Sands PEOPLE who are WONDERFUL without exception - from the manager (Charlene Ford) to housekeeping, maintenance, front desk staff and everybody else - they jump enthusiastically to PLEASE.

I hate to say negative things about where I live, but I moved into a roach infestation and my fridge is broken. Maintenance is aware of the fridge issues but hasn't done anything other than tell me what I already knew. If, these issues would get fixed this isn't a bad place to call home.

Very dirty beds where not made there was trash in the rooms. We had to wait two hours before they cleaned them. They were booked two weeks they new we were coming. They put all new things out in room to try and make things right. They also have us some money back. Its not a place you want to have your kids at all. We tried to go somewhere else but everthing was booked. I believe there is some things go on there that is very illegal.I will not ever put my family in that situation again. Like I said they did there best to make things right but still was very unhappy with this place. My family made the best of it and enjoyed our time at the beach. Have to say I will not stay here again and strongly recommend you don't.

For the price it's great. It's 298 and change after taxes for a single room for the week. The aren't the best room but they are clean. If you like soft plush beds you will love theirs. They make my back hurt. It's about 15 or 20 minutes to Pensacola Beach.

Me and my family had to stay here for several weeks, it is not a 5 star hotel but for the price is not bad. The rooms were clean and decent, during the 5 weeks I was there never saw one roach or any mold. The place is dated but they seem to keep the upkeep good. The housekeepers were excellent, stopped by everyday to make sure we didn't need anything. Front office staff was great also. Pool was available almost everyday we were there, and always clean. This hotel was worth what I paid. I did notice that they had started some remodeling on the bottom rooms.
