I stopped by for a few minutes to visit others in their suite. Rooms are large with many up-to-date features and new furniture. I do know that the resort offers an outside pool area as well. It's definitely awesome with great views when the room's way high up. When on the patio on even the slightest days with a breeze, the winds are quite strong.

Great view and within 5 minutes walking distance to beach. Hard to beat. The living space is adequate but could use an upgrade. Overall a pleasant experience.

Amazing place. Right across from the beach. Rooms are well kept and clean. Views are incredible with beach and bay views. Great for watching air shows. Good fishing. Beach has white sands and clear emerald green water. Never over crowded. Great alternative to Destin without the excessive crowds.

Great staff, service, housekeeping, maintenance! Condo's differ by taste of the owner so do your homework and rent through Premier for more benefits. Food by the pool is excellent for what it is. Coastal restaurant is beautiful, food good but hit or miss (so much potential), breakfast needs a true short order cook not a chef as there is a wait. I would highly recommend the venue and catering for a wedding, reunion or celebration!

My friends and I had an unbelievable time here! Amazing beaches all around. You wouldn’t need to leave the resort if you didn’t want to; they literally have all of the things. Great food and drinks. Gorgeous balcony views. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. You’re so close to many great restaurants. It’s a very short Uber/car ride to a bunch of different local night life scenes. You won’t regret booking here.

Genuinely impressed with the services and amenities here. Expensive but not unexpectedly so. The condos are all very clean and modern. You do sometimes really get what you pay for.

I really thought this place would be a lot better. I'm actually still here now and have nothing but bad experiences with the property since we got here. We get here at 2am Saturday morning and get hardly any help from them on how to get to our room. No luggage racks were in sight after being told they were going to have some at entrance. We finally get a hold of some and get to our room just to find out our room keys don't work. Had to wait for some new ones to come and then we get woken up 4 hours later by some defective 2001 smoke alarms that were never replaced. After that the next day we decide to go to the beach that Portofino resort runs and said they had complimentary chairs and umbrellas on beach for customers and they didn't. They provide 2 seats even for a party/room of 7 so we had to pay $40 for each 2 seats. Later on in the day we try to rent some of their motor rides and they say they can't rent them for 1 hour because they close at 4 and it was 2:15 at the time which made no sense.
We paid $1500 for a 3 night stay which to some might not be a lot but for me is a pretty good penny for the service we have received. This was exactly what I thought it would be, a hidden community way in the back away from others to get you for all your food and other attraction money for themselves. Won't be back here ever again!

Outstanding from the first moment you drive in this beautiful place. They patiently try to to exceed every expectation of yours. When something isn't right , then they fix it FAST! Will go back, love it there. Oh and the food is incredible and the spa well their is is another 5 stars! We had fantastic time, wanted to stay longer!! 😁Vickie vaughn

Location is nice but as the route off the island is 1 way, getting on is quite a long haul. The unit we occupied was adequately furnished but could be improved upon. Bed was soft and furnishings were not first rate but ok. The resort itself has a load of cool amenities, some reasonably priced, others quite expensive. Overall, it is a good experience but not amazing.

We stayed here may 2017 for 4 days and 3 nights the resort is AMAZING! I swear this place is like the epitome of beauty. The views of the gulf are breathtaking and I plan to stay again this year in the same room if it's available! Worth the price staff are great! However if you plan to do anything on the resort you cannot use cash! Card only! Book your stay you won't regret it!

WATCH OUT!!! You are about to be given a condo that has cheap furniture and beds that are quite uncomfortable. We stayed in a three bedroom and everyone had a lot of trouble sleeping in the beds provided and the sofa pull outs were a joke. It wasn't worth the thousands of dollars we spent to be THAT uncomfortable. We complained but as usual we were ignored FOR DAYS and then finally told that they were not going to give us any monetary relief. There are probably other condos the same way. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.

This resort is amazing. The water, beach, rooms and amenities are top notch. My wife and I would also like to compliment Chef Jim and Zach at the restaurant for going above and beyond for our Celiac-friendly Gluten Free Thanksgiving feast. They made special accommodations and were happy to do so. We really can't thank you enough for helping us have a great vacation! We will be back!

Best resort I have stayed in. big rooms and best view facing the sea and thanks for 15th floor room . Has several pools which are heated and hot tub was very good. Also have separate indoor heated pool. Pool area has bar and restaurant. The dolphin cruise was awesome, saw many dolphin's. Cruise had bar which I think it was awesome.the staff on cruise were very friendly.over all amazing place and definitely come back and recommend it.

My family and I vacationed there and loved it! It's perfectly located between the sound side (no waves) and the Gulf. The resort staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are plenty of swimming pools and things to do at the resort. Everything was wonderful! We will definitely be going back in the future!

Loved it! Stayed there July 2016. The condos were very spacious and we'll kept. The entire resort was amazing! Had a Gulf view and bay view. I hate I didn't get the sunset but maybe when we come back next year. The best place to stay when you have children because there are so many activities for them. Can't wait to come back!

Portofino is AMAZING. The units are HUGE and gorgeous. It is at the very eastern end of the developed part of Santa Rosa Island/Pensacola Beach before you enter the protected part where there is no development. It stands alone as the only high-rise among primarily beach houses and small complexes. You can easily pick it out as you cross the bridge to Santa Rosa Island. Part of me hates that the beautiful low-key Pensacola Beach I knew as a young boy 60 years ago has been inundated by a tsunami of towering condo buildings, but if there have to be condos, Portofino stands above the rest, literally and figuratively. The location makes it pretty quiet and means the beach does not get too crowded. Portofino also has beautiful pools, tennis courts, a spa, and a good restaurant. It is delightful to stroll the bay side beach on a pleasant October day. We no longer enjoy sitting on the beach much, but we still love to be at the beach. We now enjoy it more in cooler weather like October or November. We have even done our big family Thanksgiving here a couple of times, bringing most dishes with us, already cooked, or picking up a couple of things locally, no heavy cooking. Everyone loved it.
