I am a local Realtor from New Braunfels TX, I was invited to the Realtor appreciation Christmas Party 2017. It was held in 3 Event rooms, great table set up, provided wooden dancefloor, casino tables with service, catered food along the hallways, very nice serving set up. Friendly staff. Another event took place in the lobby/restaurant, this location can hold multiple events. As a guest to an event I can recommend this location.

My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend escape. Shopping is one exit away, got all my Christmas shopping done. Got a facial at the spa on site, completely amazing and relaxing. Cooper's, Gruene Hall, and Mozie's are a short drive away. The staff is gracious and helpful. A great place to escape, 3 hours from Houston.

Clean and pleasant hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient to I-35 and the outlet malls. The free breakfast overall was good, but I wish the waffles were self-serve rather than having to wait 30 minutes in line along with people wanting omelets.

Very nice atmosphere. I stay here for every business trip I make into San Marcos, and I have never had a single complaint about the rooms, or the staff.
Free Drink Happy hour in the lounge is a major bonus after a day of meetings. They have plenty of snacks (not just bar nuts) and the staff makes you feel very welcomed.
The breakfast each morning is also a very nice touch. The coffee is sub par, but the made to order omelets and French toast makes up for it.response / report this review -

I will never forget the expert customer service my husband and I received from Sofia Night Audit Agent. We walked through the front door after my husband begged the hospital discharge him in time to drive to Austin from South Padre Island. He was still in his hospital gown (practically shirtless) no shoes and very disoriented. Sofia treated us with respect and did not judge us. To me the first eye contact and facial expressions can tell if someone is genuine. Sofia not only had patience to check us in but continued to keep and eye out along with Security to make sure my husband felt indipend and that is so important to him. Great family facility and we will always visit.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was missing an ironing board and the iron wasn't looking great. They promptly replaced both items for us immediately. Would gladly stay here again

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff and very kind and professional but we had a few issues! We were in a premium room on the 9th floor and our suite smelled funny. The rocky river grille was great and fast service with excellent food! And beds were comfortable but the breakfast was not great like we were expecting, the eggs were watery and the potatoes were cold the fruit looked and tasted like it was from the day before! I have experienced better but I am giving it four stars because of service and dinner!

I really like this hotel. I've been visiting once a year for the last four years for conferences, and have found the quality of everything to be consistently excellent. The rooms are lovely; every room is a suite and includes a fridge, microwave and coffee maker stocked with tea and coffee. Bathrooms are great. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are always clean.
The breakfast buffet is also fabulous; it's definitely worth a little extra time to wait in line for a made-to-order omelette! There's a wide variety of other foods including yogurt, fruit, toast, bagels, etc.
In terms of being a conference venue, this hotel also rates highly. The meeting rooms and amenities are good; they put on great mid-morning and afternoon snacks and coffee, and the ballroom is a great space for larger sessions. Food and service are excellent.
In short, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel and highly recommend it :)response / report this review -

Room is very comfortable and clean. The only thing that was disappointing was the temperature of the complimentary breakfast. Someone must have forgotten to turn the warmer on.

This hotel is beyond awesome! The breakfast is great and included with the room. The happy hour is a great opportunity to sit with great friends and relax. The staff is excellent, housekeeping staff thorough and efficient. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer! All of these compliments will reflect on the management of the property which seems to be excellent!

Rooms and hotel were very nice. Kids loved the pool and I loved the hot tub. Breakfast was pretty amazing also. Only downside I can think of was weak water pressure in the shower and my kids grabbed 2 of the $3 bottles of water without my knowledge.
