Needs someone to man the breakfast area on weekends BECAUSE, some grown ass folks don't know how too clean up after themselves or their child/children. Biscuits are dry and walls are extremely thin. Have very nice people working there though

I have never been hassled so much by housekeeping in my life. They started knocking on my door at 9:30 am to come in and clean, which is double funny considering there was food and dusk on the entire perimeter of the room where it hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long and food smeared down the front of the fridge. My husband had previously stayed without any problems, but we won't be staying again.

Place was clean and rooms were nice and big. Beds were comfortable. No bugs, or weird stains. Only reason is a four was because we had small issues with our booking but nothing to major.Breakfast was good but you do have to get up a little early. I would recommend and would definelty come back.

I hate giving bad reviews but I wish I had been warned to avoid this place, so I feel an obligation to warn fellow travelers. Front desk staff was extremely rude at check-in and again later when I needed a towel. A/C was set on 61 degrees and the controls did not function - so we froze all night. There was only one towel (for 2 people) and a dirty washcloth on the sink. Tried to call front desk but phone didn't work. Hair dryer supposedly screwed into wall of bathroom was pulled loose and fell out of wall onto floor. Breakfast bar was quickly taken down at exactly 9:30 even though there were people who had arrived at 9:20 who were still in line to eat. Finally, they put a $100 hold on your credit card and said it would be released 7 days after checkout. You've been warned.

A quick birthday trip to San Antonio, TX quickly became the MOST HORRIBLE experience. I've stayed at Wyndham chains in the past, so I figured a Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Northeast for a short two night stay would sufficeboy do I regret that decision.

We booked the room on a Wednesday. The night before we would arrive in San Antonio on a Thursday. We tried to make the reservation online but couldn't due to maintenance issues. (At least that's what we thought) So we just called the hotel directly to book a room. (Got a confirmation number) We wake up Thursday morning with our account showing two pending charges for the same hotel. Problem number one. Why were we charged twice if we never got a confirmation number from the online reservation?

Finally checking in at the hotel we had to call Wyndham customer care to prove to the front desk we hadn't booked two rooms. The first transaction should have never went through but I guess the maintenance issues charged us anyways. Customer care was able to confirm the glitch so the Ms. Janet (the only helpful person) at desk canceled one of the reservations. (Again, SO WE THOUGHT)

Friday we wake up to not one. Not two. But three pending charges from the same hotel. Ms. Janet (she was nice) at the front desk and customer care both assured us ONLY ONE transaction would be processed.

We left our room around 11:30am. Had a great time exploring San Antonio. But to add insult to injury, we returned around 9pm to a room that hadn't been cleaned. Yes, the bed wasn't made and no fresh towels. What are we paying for? By it being so late and knowing we were checking out Saturday morning we just went to sleep. When I asked the rudest woman in customer service, Danielle, at the front desk why the room was never cleaned she questioned why I hadn't said anything Friday night. When I said because it was bedtime and a housekeeper coming into my room after 9pm seemed pointless, her response was 'Well why say something now? You were obviously okay with it.' Really?! That's what I call piss poor customer service. I have a voice recording of our terrible interaction with Danielle at the front desk if anyone wants to hear it.

Oh did I mention by the time we checked out Saturday morning those three mystery pending transactions actually went through. Yup almost $450 STOLEN from our account, from what was supposed to be a $140 two night stay.

Danielle was a piece of work. Even with the bank statements in front of her face she was unable to tell us why we were charged three times. Her best "explanation" was in order for the hotel to refund our money they had to take that amount to cover their deficit. Doesn't make sense and honestly as a customer the hotel balancing their books at the expense of my bank account is unacceptable. Again, I have my conversation with Danielle recorded if anyone wants to hear it.

Although I had a great time in San Antonio, the billing and quality issues at the Microtel by Wyndham San Antonio Northeast were ridiculous. I'm mad at myself for choosing this as a place to stay during my birthday. But what upsets me most is that our account is almost $450 short because of the nonsense. Customer care says they can't do anything for almost 7 days. Only took 48 hours for Microtel to steal money that doesn't belong to themI'm sure you understand from this post I WILL NEVER spend my money at a Microtel and probably never set foot in another Wyndham property. Another rewards member you can take off the mailing list. DO NOT STAY HERE. Unless your standards for hotels are incredibly low.

The room we were in had very bad outlet placings. Other than that, it was a decent room. Housekeeping was great. Really liked how clean the bathroom was and we appreciated the mat in the tub to prevent us from slipping. My only complaint was the outlets. They were out of reach and we were not able to plug anything in the ones beside the bed. They were also very loose when we had something plugged in.

This place would be one star if not for the hot breakfast. Toilet loose to the floor (rocks). Shower curtain bar loose, bent downmaking it hard to keep the curtain up against the wall. Bathroom not clean. Some sort of cuts in the bathroom vanity counter. Exhaust fan in bathroom inopso room pretty humid from showersmaking wallpaper seams fail. It was so bad the walls were wet after a shower. Cracks in tile on bathroom floor.

For the price, the room is great. We stayed in a one bed over memorial day weekend. Our one complaint was that our room smelled a little musty, but it was hardly noticeable after a while. Overall, it is worth it to book there again. For its price in the middle of San Antonio, tough to beat

Used too enjoy staying here until.
Twice i have been over charged and management can not tell me why and never calls back for explanation..
Paid $42.36 for reservation one night stay. checked out next day before checkout time. grabbed receipt. We're good right. No later that day after checkout was charged an additional $27.10. called 3 times to ask why and requested to speak to a manager Tim this day no response, refund or explanation. Stayed again here now in November paid $ 42.36 again. still haven't even left the room and at 12:30 middle of the night my credit card notifies me they are trying AGAIN to charge an additional $25.40 !!! For what reason no one knows, manager is never on site and don't believe them when they say they'll look into it and call you back because it won't happen. Steer clear they will plainly take your money if you're paying By card.. Just pay with cash.
