I was there for dinner and drinks and the bartender, Olivia, was amazing! Very friendly, she recommended the perfect wine similar to what I usually drink and she always noticed when I needed another drink even when it was busy and the manager, Pershant, was just as amazing. He took the time to check on my party multiple times and was accommodating to all our needs. And the food was the absolute best. Best burger I've ever had!!! And the wings and dessert. Will definitely go there again!
Hosted our work holiday party here. It was very lovely, the food was ample and good. Cash bar had ridiculous prices. Service was short handed, but not much impact from that as we did a buffet. Overall, a terrific party!
Nice stay, great breakfast. Only complaint was the hotel had to be evacuated twice, Friday night during the reception and early Sunday morning (7am) because of a fire alarm. Friday night there was actually a fire so I can't fault them for that but Sunday morning I think was a malfunction. And the hotel said they would not compensate anyone with a free night for the inconvenience. Disappointing.
My guest suite was huge! My family and I stayed here for a week while I attended a conference next door at the convention center. The room was well equipped, but had stale/mildewy smell upon entering. Breakfast at the hotel is free and super good. There is an nice outlet mall and large selection of great restaurants just across the street. This location is about a 15 minute drive to historic Charleston.
This is such a wonderful hotel. The breakfast was amazing with made to order omelets! The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was super friendly. The indoor pool was very nice. Great location near the airport and convention center. Outlet malls within half a mile! Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in North Charleston.
Great service and dining experience at the in house Grill. Excellent service and delicious chef prepared menu. A beautiful environment for couple, family and even business meeting outings with attendants that are willing to accommodate for a multitude of events. Prices are very reasonable and they are proud to express their gratitude for our nation's military. Thank you.
This hotel did a good job with me and my family as we were in transition to the Charleston area. We got in late both times but the restaurant still served and kept everyone happy.
Guest services and wait staff did an excellent job over our two weekend stay!
Thank you
Wonderful accommodations for the price. Had issues trying to find out the best deal and the online help desk sweetened the deal. Also had a wonderful experience with the omelette counter preparer!!! Found out from the customer service her name. It was Sue. She was very pleasant and genuine and seems to enjoy her job. The table cleaning staff at breakfast: Monica and Joel were very pleasant also. The only complaints are there seemed to be a shortage on towels. I had gone to the front desk and requested additional towels since we had 5 people and never received them in time. Also the hot tub was bombarded with many small children with only three caregivers and no lifeguard supplied by the company but the child situation seemed to be resolved by a management. We also noticed the hot tub needed cleaning. "Stuff" was floating in it that appeared to be dirt. Overall a very nice stay.
The service was nice! It reminded me of a hotel in North Carolina (embassy, of course). Would have been nice if the room were a little more spacious, however.
So far, this has been a great experience! The staff has been very attentive. You receive a little pamphlet at the beginning which answers most of your questions. We love the trees in the main area. Please don't get rid of them! The only thing I would recommend is that maybe there might be a better choice of meet for breakfast for those of us who don't eat pork! We definitely recommend staying here. We absolutely love the Hilton hotels!
We found this location to be very typical of ES. Our room (428) was immaculate, if a little bizzarre. The living area was huge, to the point that the hotel had decided to place the furniture in the middle of the room to 'fill the space'. Breakfast was sub-par by ES norms. Flavorless eggs, and over prepped meats. Managers reception included a strange "blended whiskey" for bourbon. Check in was strange as they were 'out' of luggage carts, but no bell service? I am a big fan of ES, but this location was in the lower 50%.
Stayed at the Embassy suites for a conference and found it quite a pleasant stay. Easy walk right into the conference venue next door, the food was quite good and rooms comfortable and clean. Shuttle ride from the airport was short and pleasant and shuttle rides locally were very useful. Breakfast included and complimentary happy hour was definitely a huge plus. Easy taxi ride into Charleston for an evening on the town as well. Well worth the stay.
We always get drinks at the Embassy Suites bar after performing at the North Charleston Arts Festival. I'm the sound guy and my wife's dance troupe is always happy to unwind there after months of practice for a performance. Great service, cold drinks, and a breath of fresh air. Will return whenever in the area.
