You get what you pay for. The rooms are not the best, but for the price you can't complain. Although the rooms were not great, the staff was fabulous. Unfortunately I didn't catch any names, but the woman who checked us in was great, and the man who checked us out was very polite, professional, and very accommodating. The area around this hotel was a problem for us as we didn't have a car, and we didn't feel safe walking around on foot thru the city. We ended up checking out early, which was not a problem with the front desk at all. I wasn't excepting a refund, but the man who checked us out was more than accommodating and assured me I would get my money back.
For a last minute trip on a budget, this hotel would work great.

Loved our room!!!! The neighborhood is not elite, but we were there for several days, and never saw anything shady. The pool is nicenot heated, but heyit was 90+'F. The staff is excellent. The front desk continuously is monitoring the cameras which made me feel safe. Some of the other visitors were very respectful, and helped me bring in all my husband's medical equipment. We felt at home, and we will stay there again!!!

Stayed 2 nights 10-11 Nov 2017. Simple things reduced my rating revealing lack of attention. I asked for just 1 room swipe card but desk clerk insisted I get 2 as admitted having problems with cards working on room and external doors. Very limited breakfast selection + equipment problems. Only 2 cereal choices. Only 1 toaster in breakfast room (4 slices max at time) but half of the toaster (2 slots) inoperative (handle will not stay latched to toast bread). Only Apple juice from juice dispenser machine, yet machine could dispense 2 choices (orange juice?) but other side not marked so I tried + got water. No yogurt. Only one flavor jam choice, or cream cheese, to put on toast or bagel as there is no butter or margarine offered in breakfast room. A definite "economy-level" experience, but at least my room was satisfactory. Staff are not seeing and fixing obvious issues readily apparent to customers.

Room was very dirty and unpleasant. Room stunk very bad, sheets were stained, cigarette buds and chewing tobacco spit cups out on porch of room. The pull out couch was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life. Front desk was rude and would not let me cancel my reservation even after I stated we will stay the first night. Breakfast is the worst one I have ever seen ever for a "hotel". 2 different cereals, juice machines not working and that was it other than hard bread and a couple boiled eggs. This has to be one of the worst hotels and worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The reviews for this hotel have to be fixed because no way the reviews match what we actually got. I guess you get what you pay for and I paid for trash. Choice hotels should drop this hotel specifically from its website so people do not have to suffer through something like what we did.

I knew not to expect a lot from a $50 night hotel. Most of what I needed in a hotel was met, affordable. The rooms and showers were really clean! staff was friendly, security was great; cameras and had to use your room key to get into the building. Bed was so comfy! On the down side we had issues with our room keys not working and inside the building was old, carpet dingy and smelled like a meat packing place.

Yet I would stay here again if needed to.

Beware of shady pricing for reservations. My first rate was $46. Received an email that total with tax would be about $52 . About not an exact amount. Actually I was billed for over $80 . Before I realized I was trying another reservation. Rate was $49. Actual amount when total came up was over $80 . Luckily I noticed this, a tax recovery charge of over $30 $ I logged out at that time.

I cannot get anyone from Choice hotels to return my emails. I have made numerous calls , no supervisors available or they are closed.

The room wasn't the absolute worst. But.found a four loko can on the balcony. The furniture had not been properly wiped down. There seemed to be cigarette burn holes in the top blankets on the beds. The pictures of the breakfast are not at all accurate. There was coffee, orange juice, apples, oatmeal, bagels, bread, a Danish of sorts, granola and Cheerios. Nobody attending to the breakfast either. The poolside was filthy. There was garbage and cigarette butts everywhere and no towels. Stains on the lampshade in the room. Fingerprints on the headboard. Also not the best part of town. As other people have said, you get what you pay for. The customer service was also lacking quite a bit. My suggestion would be to pay just a little more and stay somewhere else.

Pool and hot tub had trash and cigarette butt all over it. Front desk guy said there were towel out by the pool and there wasn't. Saw some kids doing a drug deal. The top cover on each bed had mysterious stains. There was trash holding night stand level so the drawer wouldn't slide open. Besides minor cleanliness and very stale basic breakfast, it was everything I expected for the price.

Just checked in and was told there is a $50 deposit, would have been nice to of known prior. After paying I was then told that no guests are allowed and deposit would be kept if there was any. I understand concern for property but this is extremely. I would have booked elsewhere had I known.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY
That's a dirty diaper by the pool. The carpets in the hallways and the stairs to the rooms was so old and dirty. The doors to the rooms were so old and flimsy they didn't feel safe to keep anybody out .I don't recommend this place for anyone . Just gross.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. There could be room for improvement as there was places peeling in the bathroom as if there was a water leak once upon a time. The continental breakfast included cereal, oatmeal, donuts, begals, pastries, apples and juices and coffee.

The room was clean and comfy. Everything worked with great tv and choices of programs. Man at desk was nice. I will stay again.

I travel a lot throughout the USA, in the last 10-15 years the smaller motels-hotels have been bought up by Indian Americans. They do a decent job and work hard, but the level of service has dropped and many skimp on breakfast options, they just load you up with carbs (breads), and skimp from any meats-eggs. I will remember to serve them only breads when they complain at my locations when my European style breakfast isn't offered anymore

Nice room. Good size. Has a refrigerator and a nice sized bathroom with a shower/tub combo. When I booked the room it said balcony but I was on the first floor and the door to what would have been a balcony was closed shut and not able to be opened. Continental breakfast was ok. Good room for the price.

This hotel promotes 100% smoke free environment yet for the 5 nights I stayed there I smelled not only cigarette smoke coming from rooms but marijuana smell so bad you could barely make it through the hallway to your room. They do not enforce the no smoking policy. Our room had hair on the drawers and sink when we arrived and our first night there was so noisy with doors shutting with a loud "CLANK" all night long and hearing what seemed to be people running around upstairs. The washer machine was broken the whole week I was there as well even though all this was reported nothing was done about it. Between the smells of this hotel and the noise I will never stay here again.
