Aweful room from the start. It had a funky smell to begin with. I found the source as soon as I took my shoes off and stepped onto a soaking wet carpet by the bathroom. The shower didn't work at all. The mechanism was completely strippedmakes me wonder how long it's been like that.
Stopped to sleep a few hours while driving through on I-10. Fine for the purpose and price but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. Friendly staff
Trust Me Stay Somewhere Else!
So I was traveling for work. Got this hotel because it was close to where I was working. Company had already paid for the rooms and everything. When I went to check in the guy at the front desk argued with me for 30 min about not being able to use the card on file. Because he wanted a bunch of paperwork from the guy at the corporate office. He even showed me the book he had of everyone who has stayed at that site. With copies of there Drivers License copies of there credit cards and a form with all there personal info that just sits on the counter. So after 30 min. of this I finally pull out my card and pay for one night as I will find a new place the next day. I get to my room and it is a dump. But I will get into that later. So I am in my room and a man knocks on my door. I get up and go to answer it but before I can he opens the door to my room. I am about ready to punch said stranger walking into my room and he is like the front desk wants to talk to you. I shut the door in his face and call the front desk. He informs me that he changed the credit card on file for my hole 2 week stay and he will refund my personal card. ( Why he didn't do this before is beyond me. ) So I am like whatever. The front desk was super argumentative and rude. So lets get to the room. First off there was a large pile of rotting food in the trash can when I checked in. Second everything that could be broken was. The shower rod was broke, the AC was missing a filter, the carpet was coming up, the furniture was old and beat up, the sink would not drain, the lamp would not turn on and the wifi was bad. Also the parking lot had a huge pile of furniture just in the parking lot in the weather and everything. It really blows my mind how bad this room was.
Besides the front door to the room, the none of the doors shut. The appliances and furniture we're out dated by a good 40 years. The floor was so filthy I had to wear shoes inside. There were two TV's that did NOT work only static. There is some annoying fan that's LOUD that you cannot shut off, shower curtain was filthy. We were so uncomfortable sex wasn't even an option. Breakfast Smh, just check out early and grab something, the man watches you like you're stealing from him with every bite. Not worth the price, unless you are drunk or something and this is a last resort. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, this is not it.
Check in was quick and easy. Staff was super helpful in helping park our large moving truck. Room was very nice and spaciousand very clean. Breakfast was sparce, but the area had restaurants and coffee within walking distance.
You get what you pay for. The rooms are cheap around 44 dollars a night. My bath tub had a hole in it and they used some cheapo way to repair it instead of replacing it. You could feel the hole and see the cracks coming around the patched hole. Breakfast was hardly that. I've been to other days inn that serve far more for breakfast, this place doesn't have that great of selection and the bread/bagels were hard. The only reason I'm giving it 3 is the price.
Great deal for a Thursday night, good staff, showered was not the greatest.
I like this place. The location is ok. There are a couple sketchy people walking around but they keep to themselves, although I would make sure you lock the car at night. The rooms are very nice and big (I always stay in the business suite when I'm here. I've never seen a cockroach in my room. The pools are nice. Can't complain.
By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I say this as a second time visitor. The first time I stayed here, the door did not close properly, the toilet stopped working and the room was dirty. Due to a last minute inconvenience I had to stay at this franchise again and it was worse than my first experience.
Firstly, if you get there a few minutes early you will be charged early admission fee of $30. Secondly, the man at the front desk could hardly understand anything I (or anyone else was saying). He came to the room for room service - which was denied - and proceeded to stand outside of the room door having a loud conversation with the cleaner. Lastly, the room was dirty again.
I would not recommend this place to anyone regardless of how cheap it is.
I usually never write reviews but I had to with this hotel! I initially booked the hotel for two nights at a reasonable rate. I now see why it was so cheap. My room door would not close all the way like it had been kicked in at some point so you could see the light and feel the intense heat coming in from outside. The office chair was ripped and had multiple stains all over it. The microwave from 1982 was caked with stains in the inside. The tv didn't work until I unplugged and reset everything. My second night there was a group of people outside my room drinking and yelling until 2am! I was moving from out of state and hoping to get into an apartment that next day but it didn't happen so I booked another night hoping to get the same or reduced rate for the issues I had and they charge me DOUBLE because it was the weekend! I didn't have much choice so I paid it. The next day they call my room and tell me that because I booked the last night after 11am that there would be an additional $10 charged to my card?! Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Everything is run down and dirty. Continental breakfast had the same crusty leftover items from the day before the entire time I stayed here. Horrible staff and money hungry management. I have nothing good to say about this hotel. 0 stars!!
We won't be back. First of all, they do not honor the priceline price. We were there for 2 nights and paid $204.00. The rooms are horrible. The carpets are dark and sticky, the bathroom floor was nasty and turned the bath mat and our feet black. The towels had mold and left over hair. The sheets had yellow stains. We paid for a king but we're given a queen. And the mattress is rock hard. You also have to deal with noise from neighbors both next to you and below.
We do not recommend this hotel.
Prices reasonable. Rooms nice and clean. Location is great. Local restaurants easily available. Rooms not by the pool are best A lot of loud children during pool hours.
It was an average room. Was able to sleep well in the bed. I liked that the sleeping and tv areas were separated by a door, so I wouldn't disturb my daughter as she slept.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The walls in the bathroom were peeling off. The water pressure was so low that I had to finish washing my hair in the sink. The pillows weren't firm at all so I didn't even use them. And what kind of hotel doesn't even have blankets???? I slept with 1 sheet! And when we turned the heat up because there were no blankets it just got colder. There was only half a roll of toilet paper so we ran out. No tissues. The couch was uncomfortable. And the rug was so gross and the whole place smelled like gasoline and body odor. Purely disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
This place charged 186.00 and the rooms look like crap. You can tell it's been here a very long time. The toilet sit so low it's like for a kid. No real shower curtains so the floor was soaked. There were flying bugs and a baby spider on the bed. We went to Walmart and bought raid. Overall my expectations were not met and will never come back again.
