Laprade is perfect for highly skilled procedures with highly variant outcomes like ACL revisions and complex repairs. I came to him with a chronically deformed and swollen knee from 20+ years of ACL deficiency. He was the only surgeon who would touch it, and he's given me back the ability to run with my kids and walk without pain. My knee will never be right, but it's much better because of him.

I got surgery on my knee September of 2015 and just recently it faulted again (dislocated) I've heard only the best about Steadman and heard great things about LaPrade. In one appt I got everything done and figured out and a surgery date set. He sounds very assured in what's wrong and how he will fix it. I can't wait.

Did an experimental surgery on my wife. She was pain free for the first time in 20 years. Thank you Dr. LaPrade for giving the remaining time of her life a happy one. RIP Sue.

Best knee specialist on this planet. I unfortunately was in a nasty motorcycle accident that did a number on my knee again. This is the only man I trust to get me back up and running again. I promise you every joint specialist knows him and has nothing but amazing things to say.

My experience with Dr. LaPrade was excellent. I had a chronic knee injury from skiing and was basically told that nothing could be done by specialists in my area. Dr. Laprade was able to successfully fix my knee issue and I was back skiing 6 months later. The Steadman clinic is absolutely first rate as well as the physical therapy at the Head Clinic. Quite frankly, I cannot imagine a more pleasant and professional experience.

Dr. LaPrade is an Incredibly gifted surgeon! I flew out from NY, to see Dr. LaPrade and his team for a revision repair after my initial surgery in NY failed, leaving me with chronic debilitating knee pain. From the moment I arrived in Vail until the time I went home, I knew I was in the best hands possible! The treatment was TOP-NOTCH, on all levels (pre-op, surgery, post-op, and PT). Dr. LaPrade not only repaired my knee (when my NY surgeon said he didn’t think it could be repaired), but also cleaned up the mess left after my original surgery. The fact that I had minimal post-op pain and swelling is a testament to his careful, gentle hands and his skill as a surgeon. The whole team works together to ensure each patient gets the best care and the best possible outcomes! His PA and ATC have been available for any post-op questions I might have had and the Physical Therapy at Howard Head was awesome! His detailed and individualized rehab protocols ensure that recovery continues when his patients return home. Thank you Dr. LaPrade, my knee feels GREAT for the first time in well over a year! There is a reason why he is one of the most sought after complex knee surgeons in the world!!
