I had a horrible accident on the mountain during my ski vacation and I was devastated! But then it all turned around because of Dr Sterett's expertise and good bed side manner. I honestly felt so comfortable from the time of injury until my final check up. I would recommend Dr Sterett to anyone that lives in Vail or anyone coming to Vail that needs an incredible Orthopedic surgeon.

Dr Sterett was amazing! He is so knowledgeable and professional, but what I liked the most is he is very friendly and his bed-side manner is incredible. He felt like a good friend to me after my surgery and had me back enjoying my life much sooner than I had originally thought. If you have to get surgery, I highly recommend him.

William Sterett is a doctor that should not be trusted. He has put me in chronic pain from a knee surgery he performed on me for my patellar tendons. He never told me that he was one of only two doctors in the world that does this surgery and that there is no concensus amoung the medical community regarding surgery for patellar tendenitis. Just assured me of the unserious nature of the surgery. I lived a life free of pain but could not do quick starting and stopping and wanted to play softball and tennis again. I now cannot even enjoy watching sports on TV because of the constant pain. I currently could not do any job that I have previously have had. I believe the man belongs in the same jail cell as Bernie Madoff and the Steadman clinic should be shut down. He has since been fired from the Steadman clinic but unfortunately has decided to stay in Vail CO. The Steadman clinic has a research institute. I just did not know that they do research without patients knowledge. My life has been ruined because I went to the one clinic that does this surgery. I guess they did not feel it was necessary to let me know this. I was treated more like an experimental rat than a human being. Please be careful. Oh yes I forgot to say I have had my MRI looked at by a doctor he cureently works with and after reviewing each slide with him was told there was nothing wrong with my patellar tendons. He of course did not know at that time that I have had surgery or he would have never said such a thing. You will never get a doctor to say anything negative about another doctor. I would recommend going outside the Vail Valley for surgery. Do not be fooled by the massive marketing by Steadman and Sterett.
