I did not have a very good experience. We had booked a room in the DoubleTree hotel, and had confirmed it, yet, when we had arrived we didn’t get our reserved room. Instead, we had gotten a kind of condo/motel that was in a dark and shady area. My part of my family came consisting of 6 people and we ordered 2 room with 4 queen beds each, and they only gave us one room! It took us 2 hours to finally get a room that we were supposed to get. I recommend that the staff and everyone involved have better communication.

As I currently work here I want to give a brief review of the work environment: Excellent!
All of the staff that I have been working with are genuinely caring and friendly, just great coworkers over all. There is great Inter-department teamwork which means you can trust other departments to help you with any tasks. The managers for each department are also very kind and comfortable, you can easily talk to them without trouble. I would highly recommend looking for a job in hospitality here :)response / report this review -

The hotel's property is large and the outdoor areas are kept clean. I didn't get a chance to swim in the salt water pools but there are 3 pools to choose from. This hotel offer a lot of activities to entertain all age groups. There are multiple conference rooms, a ballroom, & office facilities. This is a good choice for groups that want to host conventions. The staff is friendly and willing to assist.
The double room we stayed in was a decent size. There wasn't a refrigerator nor microwave in the room. The first 2 days the room's air conditioner was freezing cold. The last two nights the air conditioner blew air but it wasn't cold air. The two story buildings have outside hallways. Because of this, mosquitoes were able to fly into the room under the door which had a gap at the bottom.
After checking out the hotel should have released the $75 hold on my credit card. It took 3 weeks before the hold was released.
I will not stay at this hotel again.response / report this review -

We stayed in this hotel for one night on an Orlando weekend getaway. It's a DoubleTree so right off the bat you know that it's a decent hotel owned by the Hilton chain.
Overall we had a pleasant stay. The room and bathroom were clean and organized. This particular DoubleTree has a large parking lot as well, so parking usually isn't an issue. The complimentary wifi that is provided in the room is decent enough for checking your email and social media accounts.
Only complaint I have here is of the air conditioning unit they had in our room. I'm not sure if it was just our unit or not, but it was very loud and it would wake us up in the middle of the night.
Apart from that, this is a good hotel to stay at if you're on a reasonable budget exploring the theme parks in Orlando.response / report this review -

It's a much larger than any I had seen before. The campus is a bit spread out, but great for exercise. They also have a fitness center. The guest rooms are big enough. The decor is attractive. I had a friend staying in a room designed for folks with disabilities; it was amazing. The meeting rooms are user-friendly. The staff were very helpful. The on-site restaurant is nice, although pricey. There are several other restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. All in all, a very nice hotel.

Friendly service. Nice rooms. The rooms seem recently updated and have nice wood floors. The whole hotel is laid out more like a resort. The pools are very nice and they have multiple pools for if you want a more family atmosphere or more party scene.

I love this place. I didn't have to leave the resort. It has everything 3 pools. Wonderful restaurants. Pool side bar. They had family activities, miniature golf, movie night at the pool. We were so pleased with the amenities that we skip the visit to Sea World. I am definitely going back next year.

For some reason, I really like this place. It's not the most glitzy hotel on International Drive, but it has an Old World Florida charm. The staff go out of their way to deliver great customer service. The Landscaping is well-maintained and the rooms are good value for the money. Lots of activities for kids to do while on vacation. Laying by the pool listening to 1970s music is priceless!

Aside from no fridge in the rooms which was a very minor detail and not really a concern, this hotel was very helpful,friendly, and accommodating when a rather large family found themselves in a way of need in a very large way.. All staff was beyond helpful and friendly in every way. Any other hotel Could be been cold and heartless but this one went above and beyond. Never in my life have I been more proud to see a group of strangers so helpful especially with the way some people conduct day to day life anymore. My next trip or Orlando will include a stay at this resort no matter the rate at that time because they just simply did what was the best for everyone. This crew didn't have to step up or go out of the way to help, but they did and it is VERY much appreciated

I went here for a yearbook camp for the second year just recently. They are in the middle of construction so that was a bit of a problem for me getting to some places but other than that, I loved it.
Good place for a yearbook convention like the one I attended.
Rooms were nice, nothing too frilly or over the top but that was fine for me since I was basically only in them at night time to sleep or to pick something up I needed.
Pretty decent customer service, nothing memorable but was helpful.
Would recommend because it is a pretty good place to stay if you want to go to Universal or SeaWorld.response / report this review -

Great location to SeaWorld. The hotel itself is really clean and the staff is very helpful. The food at all locations are what would expect at a 4 star hotel, pretty good. There is alot of renovations going on, however the hotel as taken extra steps to compensate for the inconveniences, a few free vouchers here and then. Would have like to known about the construction before time. Over all really good experience and will be back when all the renovations are completely done.

My experience here was only bad.
I had booked 2 "quad rooms" which are rooms that ought have 2 queens an they were to be connected as we were traveling as a group for a conference nearby.
I was greeted by 2 rooms in the furthest recesses of the hotel, they were separated by a reasonable distance and 1 had only a king bed. The room was near several storage tanks and a bunch of toilets and tubs, also the construction started early and went ALL DAY LONG.
As a group of grown men we weren't wild about the prospects of potentially having 3 in a single bed.
I brought my complaint to the receptionist and was informed there were no alternatives but as a means of improving our scenario they would bring us a roll away at no charge, wow what luck.
The desk informed me after checkouts they would attempt to move us the next day. I contacted the desk the following day and was read literally the identical script from the day prior. I spent all 3 nights on a roll away which might as well had been a yoga mat. I reached out to management on 3 occasions and was told each time "someone will be in contact with you" but no such outreach ever came.
Do not stay here. There is a days in on the other side of the highway which is probably comparable in quality and has to be substantially cheaper.response / report this review -

The room was average. The housekeeping was very good. The water in the bathroom and sink smelled very much of sulfur. Although, that seems to be common in Florida. The grounds are great for families with a play pool for kids, table tennis, billiard table, life size checkers or chess, and mini golf. There is also a nice adult pool with an outdoor bar near the pool. The resturant was very good and the "market" store was handy. The parking costs are expensive and you are charged more each time you leave and re-enter.

We were charged for everything that we did. Needed to ship something to the hotel charged $5. Wanted to drink and eat by the pool charged money (can't bring in outside food or drinks). Bottled water in the hotel room $3. Parking in the lot $18. Daily Resort fee $25. Breakfast buffet is $20 a person. Forget about parking near your hotel room. There's too much construction equipment that's taking up all the parking. Disney isn't even this expensive and it's twice as nice.

This hotel is great! There is nothing like falling asleep to the soothing sounds of constant construction, bell service that allows you to get a workout by carrying your own luggage around said construction with no signs to show you how to get to your hotel room, and free ice! Just don't touch the water in the room because that's $3 and if you want a fridge to keep the milk for your baby's milk they have you covered! (For $10 a day) They also give you the opportunity to stay at universal for the entire day because they only have three shuttles two of which go to universal and one which brings you back 10 hours later. They accept your mail as well and will give it to you for an extra $5. So bring plenty of nickels and dimes because you are going to need them
