I performed a vowel renewal ceremony for a couple from our church. They had rented the Harvest Grille and the associated conference room with it. The area that was rented was very nice. The hotel staff was professional and helpful. The food was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located on Hillsborough Street in the heart of Raleigh and the NC State University campus. It is definitely worth considering for events or an overnight stay.

We had a Double Queen Room and a King Bed Room both with Balconies. The Beds were Very Comfortable. Unfortunately There are No refrigerators or Microwaves in The Rooms which was a bit of a Struggle as We have 4 Young Kids and those 2 amenities help tremendously during overnight stays. The breakfast buffet is $12 per person and free for the young kids (ours are under 8). It was a Nice Variety of foods however I do not eat $12 worth of food by myself so I felt it was a bit much. The staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful.

Very clean and convenient to several locations. You can tell the hotel has some age to it. The sliding glass door in the room is difficult to open and allows air from outside in. I also overheard another guest speak to the front desk about theirs not opening at all. The room we had did not have a mini fridge, the bathroom was super nice and had great shower pressure! One of the best showers I have ever taken at a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We needed to stay an extra night and they worked with us. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, ice machine and soda machine at the end of our hall. Would stay here again for sure.

Great rate. Great location. Great service. The government rate was the best In the city. The balcony doors did not complexly seal and let in a lot of noise from the parking lot.maybe something to consider if you like complete solitude.

Great location right next to the Bell Tower. Easy walk to fun bars and restaurants. Hotel was clean. Rooms were clean and well taken care of. Staff was super friendly, even when getting swamped with GA Tech check ins. Breakfast buffet was typical but food was tasty and warm.

Our stay here was "Ok" and not much more than that.
The positives:
- nice central location
- free parking around the hotel
- clean and nice room
- friendly reception staff

The negatives:
- $12 + tax per person for breakfast (not included in the room fee)
- no fridge/minibar (only in suites) and no microwave in the room
- we had a group of very loud, young people stay on our floor that caused disturbances until way past midnight. We had to call security that calmed them down for a bit, but the day after they did the same again, slamming and knocking on doors, talking loudly in the corridors.. Very unpleasant to have a room next to people like this.
- limited parking space if there's a conference in the hotel
- housekeeping lady only spoke Spanish so communication wasn't easy

Hotel is not bad, but for the price I'd expect a little more and a quieter stay.

Clean and comfortable. Placed on the first floor with quick access to the areas of the hotel. Quiet room with nice decor. Room service was just okay. Never replaced my paper coffee cups after day one or the mouth wash bottle that they had in the room. DoubleTree cookies are amazing and they had a free coffee bar in the mornings. I would return if i needed to go to this area.

The room was absolutely perfect. We stayed on the sixth floor which was a Hilton Honors members floor. Very clean. The shower had great water pressure and the bathroom was spotless. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but that's a personal thing.

The staff was amazing. We stayed there from 10-13-17 to 10-15-17. The two people on staff at the desk were amazing. I believe the young lady's name was Anne Marie. We had a getaway weekend/anniversary thing. We came back to our room after dinner (in the hotel restaurant which was amazing as well) and found rose petals from the door to the bed, towels made into swans in the bed surrounded by rose petals in the shape of a heart, and chocolate covered strawberries.

All in all, a fabulous stay and a fabulous weekend.

We attended a wedding at this location. First impression of the lobby was nice; but we had to stand right in front of the rotating door watching a TV screen that flipped through the different events going on at the hotel in order to find the room to go to. We stood there for a couple of minutes and no staff offered assistance. My suggestion would be a screen that lists all the events but does not flip. The facility was clean and well-kept, including event areas and restrooms on both levels. We were in a downstairs room for the ceremony, then an upstairs reception room. We were particularly impressed with the upstairs room. The wait staff were very prompt and the appetizers and meal were very good. Good ambience, overall really well-done.

It was easy parking. Lots of parking available on site. It was clean, everyone was couteous. They made sure water and cups was always available and ready to drink. I came unprepared for paper and pen, they had it readily available on every seat. It was a great experience. One location I would keep in mind to refer to someone traveling from out of town.

Rooms are a bit confusing to navigate - they could've done a better job with signage. I was really disappointed I had to pay so much for the cup of mediocre coffee I got at the Harvest Grille. Otherwise it was a good experience - we were in the Roosevelt room with about 50 people and the tables were set up nicely, the lighting was good, chairs were comfortable, and it seemed we had some sort of control over the temperature in our room. the room had great acoustics (we could not overhear other rooms nor did we experience an echo).

This hotel truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. I'm sure they treat all their guests equally, but the combination of the super friendly staff, warm fresh DoubleTree cookie, with the 2 bottles of water and snacks waiting for me in my room really made me feel special. I only stayed for one night, but I will definitely be returning on my next to to Raleigh. The hotel is less than a mile from NC State's campus and has a breathtaking view of downtown Raleigh from the rooms on the upper floors.
