Room was very clean, but overall experience wasn’t great- no warm cookies at check in which is signature Wingate, breakfast was awful both days - mediocre scrambled eggs & some microwaved sausage that was inedible - nothing else hot at all, no oatmeal or anything. Last day of stay they closed off one elevator first thing in morning (for what seemed to be no reason) which made getting up & down ridiculous long because of guests checking out. Always had to ask for towels in pool area, (which was way to hot for comfort). I’ve stayed at other Wingate at airport & it was better- won’t be returning.

Breakfast was amazing. I was here for a team trip and Mike in particular was super helpful. He woke up and got in extra early just to make sure we had a hot breakfast. I don’t believe you’d get that kind of service anywhere else.

Beautiful and spacious rooms with easy access to popular areas around Raleigh. Quiet and comfortable with a nice fitness center and indoor pool. Also, lot of cops stay here for training so it's got that as an additional safety factor if that's what you're interested in.

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly. However, one of the rooms we were supposed to be in was dirty. Bathtub was dirty, beds weren't made. Basically, they forgot to clean it. The other room was perfect and since we'd requested adjoining rooms, the staff was willing to move us but we'd already settled into the one. Breakfast was good however the selection left a little to be desired. Overall, a good stay.

I have stayed here many times. When I found out the pool was broken, I called to cancel my reservation and stayed at another hotel down the road. I was told by the front desk person that I wouldn't be charged anything given the status of the pool and the fact that I was a repeat customer. At first, I was charged for both nights of my reservation. After calling multiple times about this, I finally got one night taken off, but corporate and this hotel won't refund the other night. Now, the manager won't return my calls. Blatant robbery and very poor customer service. Even if you've stayed here before, you'll be treated like a nuisance- not a customer. There are plenty of other nicer hotels in the area. Stay at one of them. Don't bother with this shady place.

Peaceful. I have to go to the price of this place and it's atmosphere I would recommend to good people to stay here and to enjoy the good experience of staying here as I have.

I was surprised that the room looked like the photos. Service at the front desk was swift and seamless. The room was very clean, roomy and functional. I am giving 4 stars because the breakfast was disappointing. There were no protein options other than oatmeal and yogurt.

Did not experienced much of the hotel, because I arrived late and left the next morning. However, my room was clean and well kept up. The lobby area of the hotel was nice. I did not utilize the breakfast area, pool or exercise facilities. This hotel accepts the NC State per diem rate. I will be happy to stay again.

I blocked out 13 rooms for my wedding party i the bride got a suite arrived at 530pm room still was not ready when i was told 3pm. That's the only reason i gave a 3 star plus bathroom light would not turn on. But the staff mautice was very helpful and nice made my guest felt like we were in a 5 star. He was awesome please pass this info to this young man.

Do NOT stay here--they spoofed my credit card! My cc # was keyed in for a second room after 10 pm, long after we had the kids asleep. This had to be an inside job. All attempts to work with Wyndham at the hotel and corporate level to have this pleasantly resolved failed, so now I have to dispute with cc company. Indoor pool is frigid, but hot tub was nice. Breakfast was very lousy--the only hot food item was waffles with no protein available except milk (no eggs, sausage, bacon, or even yogurt). On the plus side, the beds were okay and the shower was strong and hot. Sad to say this, but I will never stay at any Wyndham hotel again.

Very clean facilities, which is top priority in my book and we ended up staying an extra night instead of being closer to our final destination as planned.
Breakfast was standard fare, only problem I had was the milk was in a large pitcher and kept on the counter, not chilled, so I wasn't willing to drink it. Everything else was good but basic.
The room was huge, furniture was comfy. They put a decorative pillow and blanket on the bed, which unfortunately don't belong there imho, since they usually end up on the floor (true for us).
The biggest complaints were the blackout curtains may be blackout curtains, but aren't large enough to cover the window so you wake up with a bright roomful of sunshine. Also, the AC unit has been converted from the wall unit under the window to the thermostat but I'm not sure the AC unit knows that. At 2a, I woke up sweltering and the thermostat showed the room temp was 75 even tho it was set to 68. No matter what I tried between the two units, i could never get the AC working, so settled for turning the unit to high fan. When we reported it to the front desk, they said that luckily we weren't staying in the same room the next night so we wouldn't have to worry about it. Not very confidence-inspiring for fixing problems as they arise.
Overall, very clean facilities with an indoor hot tub and pool, free breakfast, and hot water with good pressure in the shower. Some details are off, but I would stay here again.
