Great cookies coming and going, A clever way to bring you back. Bbreakfast was unavailable . The room is clean and nice. Bathroom is good. I love the lavender lotion. A business center is available and fitness room. They could use a water softener the towels are a little stiff. Really disappointed about the complimentary breakfast not being available. No points or rewards offered.

This hotel is really focused on their customers. I needed to check in early, 3 hrs early and they were great about it. I arrived to the hotel and was greeted by the guys at the front desk who were very professional and smiling. Valet parking is $20 a night with unlimited in and out privileges, a little steep, but Milwaukee has limited parking options. The room was very clean and spacious. Nice TV, very comfortable beds and a lot of complimentary items incase you forgot to pack something. I was hungry from my day of travel and wanted to get lunch so the front desk staff recommended the restaurant located in the hotel. That staff was awesome too. Everyone was smiling and looked liked they enjoyed what they do. I was recommended the daily buffet for $10.50 (Chinese food) and it was surprisingly very good. Tonight I'll try dinner as well.
Update: didn't try dinner but had a stop at the bar and I gotta tell you, it only confirmed my earlier experience. Knowledgeable bar tenders, and still very customer focused. One gentleman ordered a steak at the bar and it came out medium when he order medium rare.. He didn't complain, but the bar tender, Nick noticed his face a couple times and without telling the customer went in the back and had the chef cook him another strip without his knowledge. Wow!!
I travel a lot for work, I wish all my hotel stays were as customer focused as this hotel.response / report this review -

Nice rooms. Very clean. Front desk and valet staff was kind and helpful. Good location downtown. Not too far from the action. Bar and restaurant on site is nice.

We stayed at the hotel over night for an out of town wedding and overall the stay was fine. If you are looking for a decent place to store your stuff while you are out and come back to sleep, this is it. Unless you are a light sleeper. The walls are very thin and we could hear everything happening in the hall and the rooms next door. Location is convenient. Staff was nice. There is an additional fee for parking. Walking distance to some good restaurants and bars.

Will definitely stay here again! Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. most of all the staff were helpful and super friendly. don't forget to ask Thomas at the desk for a fresh baked cookie😁😄

The DoubleTree Hilton in downtown Milwaukee was an absolutely wonderful place to host our wedding reception, with excellent service all around. Angela was always on top of things, quick to answer questions and great with follow-up. We appreciated her attention to detail and how gracious she was with her time. She was friendly, personable, and professional, and did a fantastic job coordinating a bunch of small but crucial details, including working closely with several vendors. The ballroom space worked perfectly for our 95 person guest count, and all of the staff were attentive and helpful. Angela and her staff were able to accommodate not only multiple dietary requests but also a special health situation—the groom has multiple sclerosis (MS) and is sensitive to temperature variation—which made it important to keep the room on the cooler side. We found the catering minimum to be reasonable compared to other downtown venues, and it was awesome to have a complimentary room that night and complimentary breakfast the next morning. Amidst the stress of wedding planning it was a real relief to know that the reception preparation was in such good hands, and thanks to Angela, the event couldn’t have gone any more smoothly. We received many compliments on our venue choice and how beautiful the space was, and highly recommend that any engaged couple keep it in mind when planning their wedding reception.

Fantastic stay at this DoubleTree location in Milwaukee Downtown. Location is perfect as it's pretty centrally located to all the hot areas in the Milwaukee city center, can't beat this location!
The staff here are very helpful friendly and courteous, super professional. Matter of fact we had an early departure on Sunday (before the buffet opened) and "Rick" (front desk clerk) asked us if he could get us a cup of coffee, what a God send, how nice and observant of him and we really needed a cup of coffee since it was 5:00am!
The rooms were very clean and decent size with a mini fridge. Plenty of outlets and USB's to charge devices. The bed gets ranked as one of the most comfortable I've slept in (King mattress was fabulous) However, the pillows were a bit too big but manageable. The bath room shower was very nice with plenty of hot water. Only problem is the bathroom is tight and definitely only made for one person to be in there. The sink shares the same space as the commode area so only room for one person in he area at a time.
We bought the prepay buffet breakfast and it was fantastic. Fast service, plenty of coffee and nice hot food variety as well as pastries, breads and juices.
The elevators were no problem with three we never waited an extended period of time. The fact we stayed on their top floor (10) this was pretty good.
If I was in town, I'd definitely stay here again, no doubt!response / report this review -

Best DoubleTree and Hilton brand hotel that I've ever stayed at and I've traveled weekly for work for the past 2 years. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly and the rooms are very modern and upscale. Can't wait to bring my husband back for a weekend trip!

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Valet service was quick, room was very nice and comfortable, reception staff was great, and the breakfast was nice. Only downside is the bartenders were inattentive.

Was here to celebrate a family members wedding anniversary. The staff was really friendly & courteous, if I had to rate the customer service only they'd receive 5 stars. As a Hilton Honors member I thought the rooms were rather small since we're placed on specific floors. The complimentary breakfast buffet was better than most hotels that offer a free buffet. Upon checking in the valet wait time was a longer wait because the parking lot is undergoing renovation & limited parking space. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I run business meetings for 20-50 people about 15 times/year, and use hotels all over the country. I have used this Doubletree for meetings many times, and it is always my 'go to place' for any in the Milwaukee area. The banquet staff is extremely accommodating and willing to go beyond normal expectations. Jeff is the GM, and he has made their shuttle bus available to my groups for dinner runs on short notice, and is incredible at confirming what we need and when.
The rooms are typical of Doubletree standards, fairly recently refreshed and consistently clean and free of mechanical gremlins.
I love the consistency of great service every time, and suspect you would as well.response / report this review -

The location was nice - we were able to walk to a lot of our activities. The rooms were clean and accommodating and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that housekeeping came very early in the morning, before some of guests were out of bed (we were there for a bachelorette party) so we had to send them away. Otherwise it was a nice hotel, and I would stay there again.

The Doubletree provided a large block of rooms for our out of town wedding guests over Memorial Day weekend. Their service was stellar-- beginning a year out with a great block rate. They distributed gift bags (FREE!), they accommodated adjoining room requests, and their valet parking service was excellent 24/7. As you would expect from a Hilton family hotel, the rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. But for us, the service helped make our event that much more special. Thank you Angela and team!
