We stopped in at the Pfister to check out the glorious decor and take a break from touring Milwaukee. Mercy is it a pretty place. As a special treat we had a drink in the lobby bar (upstairs wasn't open). The selection of high quality options, as well as the specialty drinks on the menu were top notch! And our server was super; friendly, charming, and effective! The quick luxury of our unexpected visit most definitely put the Pfister on our radar for a special getaway weekend in the future.

Have attended many events in the Pfister Ballrooms. The staff is always attentive and helpful. The banquet food is good and the servers are friendly. The doormen are always helpful and kind as well. Beautiful lobby and ballrooms

First of all this hotel is racist and if I could give it zero stars I would. Shortly, after I checked in a person from housekeeping knocked on the door saying candy and then attempted to open the door without my permission. This caused myself and my friend that was staying in the room with me to feel unsafe. We decided to go out and when we arrived back another staff member asked if we were just trying to use the bathroom or if we had rooms here. He did not ask anyone else that was white entering the hotel this question. Furthermore, the restaurant in the hotel is slow and overpriced for the food they serve. When we arrived back to our room my friend and I were having a conversation in our room and the manager knocked on the door and said that our conversation was too loud and asked if we could calm down. We weren’t arguing or screaming we were talking at a normal voice level. It’s seems this hotel values some guest over others and I would not recommend it to minorities or people over the age of 50.

This is a great and historic hotel.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
I appreciated the clean and quiet room.
All services provided are best in class.
You also have plenty of things to do and explore due to this hotels location.
I would also recommend this hotel for larger groups and meetings.

Stayed there for a work gathering and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful on directing you to where you need to be. The lobby is gorgeous, very open and vintage let alone the atmosphere with the bar and cafe all within view from check in point. Rooms are spacious, but I will admit that I was able to hear conversations in the rooms adjacent to me and people in the hallway. I did receive a couple complaints because of a groups of 4 people were talking in my room and guests were not being understanding. Overall, staff handled it well and was very polite about the situation. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this place for any event.

This hotel is top notch, it does not get much better then this. Great, Great location minutes walk from most attractions. Great restaurants in and all around the hotel. Exceptional staff and the virtual butler is great(You will understand if you stay here). If you stay here make sure you have a drink in the piano bar, the piano player is fantastic. If you can spend the extra money and get a Club Room because you will have access to a lounge that only Club Room members can get into. The club room includes a full breakfast( not a crappy continental one) and I mean a good variety, also all pop, water and fruit juices through out the day and night, and also snakes through out the day and night, plus a honor bar including wine, beer and the hard stuff. I had a blast staying at this hotel and it was a A++++ experience.

Fantastic event services. Came here for an event and it was very well organized and coordinated. The staff was exceedingly professional in making sure they were not in the floor anytime there were folks speaking. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a large event venue.

Stayed for a week. Warm breakfast ranged from omelette, potato with fried ham to omelette, potato and sausages. Otherwise, it is very clean, looks old but fashionable and a bit like museum. For international travelers: no slippers, no toothbrush, no bathtub were offered. Beds tall, comfy. View from 23 floor cafe, bar is nice! All in all good stay.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at!!! Went for my husband's birthday and had an excellent time. Had a butler that honored any request and made sure your stay was perfect. Rooms were superb. Expensive hotel but worth every penny.

It's a really old and quite beautiful place. They have a spa and art gallery there, as well as original paintings on the ceilings and such. A lot of famous people stay there, mostly baseball teams, so you get to see them. The food there is amazing, and the service is too. There really isn't any other word for it. It's my favorite place in my favorite city. It's the place where I learned to swim in the deep end. It's a beautiful city, and the hotel is so cool because the pool is on the top floor, and so is one of the bars, and it's magnificently beautiful at night. I highly suggest for any one that they stay there.

We were visiting from Scotland and our family that live locally recommended this place for drinks. What a recommendation. It was so so nice. The views are really nice especially at night when I visited. There was a live band playing as well which was really nice. Drinks were also goodwould definitely recommend.

The Pfister is a central part of Milwaukee history. It is beautiful and the staff go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The lobby bar features an incredible fireplace in which the back wall of the fire chamber is hand carved. The food is excellent as well! The picture is a display from their Easter brunch.

Our stay at the Pfister Hotel was memorable and so luxurious. The Front Desk staff was incredible- but particularly, James, made our entire weekend so relaxing. We had an issue with our room and a call to the front desk was resolved within 15 minutes. James set us up in another room on a different floor so quickly- and then came to help us move our luggage himself. I was charmed to see him the next day, bright-eyed and welcoming, at the front desk. Does this guy work 24-7?!? I will never stay in another hotel when I am in Milwaukee. It's a great town with lovely people who care to represent the best of their city. Thanks, James! You make Milwaukee so nice to visit!
