Room was clean, but could use more lighting in bathroom. Somewhat outdated. Dinner at Shula's2 (on site) was amazing. Breakfast was average. Staff was attentive and cordial. At check out, I was asked how my stay was. This was the first time I was asked all year. Very impressed with the staff and their attention to detail.

We had a conference there. The place is nice and food was good. The temperature is the room was either hot or cold. They couldn't figure it out. The limited interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional.

My work has meetings here 3 or 4 times a year. Everything always looks modern, clean and fresh. I always have to stop at the front desk for the WiFi password if nothing else and am pleasantly surprised every time. It's as if they don't mind being at work, weird. The lunch provided is always really good too. I never eat dinner when we have a meeting here because of how much I end up eating. All the tech stuff runs smoothly for the bosses and they've mentioned how helpful the staff has been. I'd be willing to bet the staff was working outside their job discrimination. Not to mention I know how tight my bosses are so I know you're getting a good deal here. Enjoy

Stayed here on our wedding night with family and friends. Incredibly helpful sales manager George, easy to work with and always responded promptly. I highly recommend, but the rooms are a tad dated. Hospitality suite was spacious, but the doors didn't sit flush, so we heard everything in the hallway at any time.

They have a lot to improve. The hotel is nice in general, but there are issues with some of the rooms. Windows not closing, cigarette smoke smell in another room, etc. They need to refine what they are doing hereand their staff too.

Great location. Very nice hotel. Shula's restaurant is on site and very nice. Everything from burgers to steaks, fresh fish, etc. Nice treat for a hotel restaurant. Decent rooms - clean and modern. Been here many times and never been disappointed.

Great hotel, friendly staff and clean reception. Very big hotel, has a great indoor/outdoor pool which is connected together. Nice gym, not too big but good enough for people to do their workouts. Rooms are great, very spacious, clean and the bathroom is a decent size but very nice. Just a side note when you use the taps in the sink and bath, both have high pressure, so go slow if filling any glasses and as for the shower, you need to pull the handle out towards you for it to turn on and the pressure from it is not the best but still ok.

I arrived for an optical seminar and was pleasantly greeted by two staff members, Ashley & Autumn at the front desk. Throughout the morning we had a fun & witty banter every time I passed. They were super helpful in directing me to where things were, from the delicious fused water to the trash cans. Then as I was leaving these two sweet ladies had a cookie & water bottle waiting for me. They really went that extra mile and truly made my guest experience a wonderful one. Because of Ashley & Autumn and their fabulous attitudes, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to host a seminar. Thank you Ashley & Autumn!!!

My husband and I dinned at Shula's2 located inside of the Double Tree Hilton Hotel on a Friday night for date night. The server was friendly and attentive and the dunning area was clean. I ordered the blackened Salmon, as suggested from our server, it was excellent. I would definitely dine there again.

The front desk staff was very nice. The breakfast staff was some of the nicest ladies I've ever met, very friendly first rate customer service. Susie who is a cook in the kitchen welcomed each guest at the buffet. The egg casserole was better than any I had ever made or had before. I complimented Susie on it and here she makes it from scratch along with the bread pudding and the banana muffins. The eggs are real eggs, crispy bacon, fresh fruit and much more.
This was by far the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Made from scratch by Susie who takes great pride in treating guests like family.
This Double Tree staff never meets a stranger everyone comes in as a special friend.
We had a wonderful weekend in the Independence, Ohio!

Wasn't there long, but it seems like a good hotel. Rooms are nice with decent amenities including a fridge and lots of outlets all around the room. Indoor/outdoor pool with the outdoor half open seasonally and a well equipped gym. Staff are all very nice. There are several restaurants and shops in walking distance.

The bathroom is dirty with hair on the floor and a hose clamp holding the shower rod up. The handicapped accessible room is little to be desired. A king size bed and a tiny chair instead of the sofa bed that is shown and described in the online website for this particular site. This is a total disaster and a place I would never pay to come to. I would rather pay $56 for motel 6 down the street. I mean really, you want a hotel you can relax in and you get a motel you cannot even take a shower in.
