This is the only Disney hotel, which I've stayed at and had a miserable time. They had our room ready about two hours after the check-in time and then the bands didn't even work. The whole hotel is around a giant lake, which sounds okay, until you realize that this makes it near impossible to walk to the main lobby if you're in one of the rear buildings. But the entire reason why I'll never visit this one again is that they don't have the bus system properly organized. Basically, they pick up the stops in numerical order. If the bus is full by the time they get to the second stop, they head to the park and then start back at 1 again. If you're unfortunate enough (like me) to not know this and try to wait for the bus at the main lobby, you'll be hanging around for an hour or two. None of the employees will tell you that this is happening, because they don't want everyone clamoring to get on at stop #1 and the buses don't coordinate to begin where the last one left off. This is not the kind of experience that I'd expect from a Disney property.

Well I have not stayed here I am a painter here at Disney and I am currently working here at Coranado Springs. I work directly with the Cast members and all of them have been extremely nice and understanding. They have all helped where they could. I love working here at Disney it's almost a dream job for me. I have not stayed at the resort but have been all through it. It's amazing every resort here on Disney Property is.

The cleaning staff are the stars here. We're visiting on our honeymoon and we came back to towels folded into a swan arrangement on our first day back from the park--so sweet! The rooms are fairly standard. The water pressure is insane though--almost terrifying. And hot and cold spigots that actually output the labeled temperature! Only real complaint is the long walk to the lobby, but that's mostly due to the construction blocking the direct route. We're having a lovely time.

This moderately priced resort lacks the amenities found in value resorts. Disney's Pop Century is way better in terms of openly accessible food and beverages, microwave availability and ease of access, seating ergonomics, etc. The walk to both the large pool and bus stops can be as far as 5 blocks (half mile), all depending on where your room is located. There are 4 bus stops for the entire resort and the lake in the center is what makes this resort appear so large, which is also the culprit for the elongated walks to the pool and other areas. My family and I will not be staying at this resort again. Instead, we will be continuing to stay at Pop Century where we've gone over 20 times since 2011.

Very nice stay. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great dinner at the mayan grill. The bed was a bit worn. Everything was clean and well maintained. The pool closest to me was, unfortunately, undergoing renovations so it was closed but the main pool was open and very nice.

The first night we stayed here there was no hot water in our hotel room. We tried to call the front desk but no one answered and it transferred to Disney Guest Services. I let them know about issue and they put me on hold for them to call the hotel and see if they were having issues in the building I was staying in. They were unable to get in contact with them either and said that they would send them a message to have someone out the next morning to check things out. We never heard anything back on it, but the hot water was working the next day. To night we tried to call the front desk again to see if any of the other buildings near by had a drink vending machine because the one by our building is sold out of everything. But of course we can never get through. We found a vending machine in the guest laundry room, it is part snack and part drinks, so of course if I got a drink, it would be hot. I was going to get a drink and just put it on ice, but when I went to purchase the drink, I noticed all the bottles had faded labels from light shining on them for so long. Weird thing was that the vending machine was inside and not in direct sunlight; so that there tells me how long the drinks have been sitting there. And of course to top it off, our room is right next to the construction they are doing on this property. It didn't bother me too much because they said the construction shouldn't be heard late at night, that work was being done during the day when we're in the parks. But here we are at 11pm and there is an annoying noise coming from the site that sounds like machinery still running. No, it's not extremely late, but we wanted to get at least a solid nights sleep before they start up again in the morning. We'd like to call the front desk to see if there's anything they can do or if they know if the noise will stop soon, but of course they don't answer. There are quite a few other bothersome things as well, that are just making this visit miserable. For example, the bus service for the hotel is really lacking and other guest have told us that they have waited over an hour just to get on a bus to go to one of the parks. Our room was also disappointing in the cleanliness. There's decorative trim around the bathroom mirror that is very dusty and has spots of toothpaste from past guest yuck! A lot of edges and ledges in the room are also dusty, like the thermostat controls. It all just makes my skin crawl. The only reason I give the hotel 2 stars is because the cast members are nice. It just seems like the pieces are falling apart above the cast members and they are just doing the best they can to take care of the guest.

I loved the staff there. I also loved the resort! It was beautiful everywhere we went and easy to get around. They do have some construction going on right now but it didn't affect my time there at all. Only thing that I would say the shower in the room had to much water pressure. No matter what setting you put on the shower it was like needles in the skin. This was not the best bit didn't have enough effect to upset my stay. Love the hotel and will be returning for a longer stay.

Beautiful resort! Stunning lobbying, pools, roomsall of it is amazing! Coronado Springs has deluxe amenities for moderate prices. There is some construction going on that does not hinder the view, transportation, noise or any other aspects of the resort. Despite that, there were 3 Disney pins in our rooms apologizing for the "Pixie dust"! Staff is accommodating and polite. Coronado Springs' closest park is Animal Kingdom. The resort itself has multiple, internal stops which is nice so you don't have to hike to one shuttle location from such a large resort. Multiple pools with slides and restaurants on site. Try it! You wont be disappointed!

We went to Disney as a get away from our week long power outage situation. We needed an escape and some happiness. Disney need not disappoint. Hot showers, great beds, air conditioning, fabulous food and fun in the parks! We are in a better frame of mind to handle what the next week brings us. Thanks!

Buses: because of the capacity of this hotel, buses are more frequent than some of the other hotels. no monorail of course though
Rooms: comfortable, a step slightly above the value resorts but overall, pretty standard
Food: I still prefer the self-serve options at Coronado as compared to some other locations. One con though is it isn't cheap, expect to make a budget for meals
Location: it's central to all the parks so while some will naturally be a little longer, overall it averages out such that you don't feel like you are on buses too long.
We've stayed at most of the Disney hotels and we still consider this to be one of the best. The price to value, convenience, ease of getting food, and location in the parks are all a little bit stronger than other hotels

Coronado Springs nicely blended different cultures together. The water setting combined with tropical elements made for a comforting, yet thrilling stay. The location is convenient relative to the surrounding parks. The service was a 4/5 overall, sometimes the employees were harder to understand but this was not too troublesome. Room service always kept towels in the rooms. The rooms were kept clean and it was a comfy stay.

Went to Coronado Springs for dinner at the quick service restaurant. It has changed a lot since we were here last 7 years ago. That said, it's still an amazing resort restaurant. It has table service quality food at quick service prices. New decorations and layout (for us) looks nice. Family spent the entire time being very happy here and comparing it to ours.

I used to love Coronado Springs Resort very much so. But they have done so many changes to their food court the food is of horrible quality now I actually had better service at the all stars which is surprising. My kids would not even eat the food that they serve this time and I was not please with my own dinner period but I absolutely love the refurbishment in the Ranchos buildings. It still has that soft Disney theme but it has a contemporary look yes it is for the business like people but my husband and I enjoyed it even with our small young kids it was just something different and nice to see. But it is a very large resort so it is a very long walk to the front that we end up having to drive each time

The resort is beautiful! The customer service is pretty good. I had to wait a long time in line for the quick service dinner and I was very hungry, but the lady cashing me out was very nice. I also wish there was a place to buy food or drinks that was open all night; our flight got in so late everything was closed and we were so hungry. Overall it's been lovely so far.
