I made a mistake and got tires right after the first snowfall, which made it incredibly busy. I never got a call saying my tires were ready, and I didn't want to wait more than 20 minutes on hold to call them.
When I did finally get my tires (a week later) they were very apologetic, expedited my service, and waved a $50 service I ended up needing.
I would recommend this store, but not during the busy season if you can avoid it.

Always pleased with the service and price at Discount Tire. Recently went in on a week night during the November tire rush and it was extremely busy. The guys did an excellent job getting everyone through the line including a difficult customer. After an expected wait time, I was out the door even after closing time. Great experience and tires!

Prayed before going to get my tires. Wow, what a mighty GOD we serve! Jeff, got me in and out within 35 minutes with great customer service. Aint GOD AWESOME? HE sent me to the right place at the right time. Thanks Jeff and GOD bless.

Good price for a set of tires. Good sales.
Poor service tech's. Rank amateurs. Not one of the four new tires was inflated to spec. Each was 5-7lbs low. Had to drive back when my sensors didn't update to spec. No way was anyone ASE tire and rubber certified. Sales gave me back cash for the trouble. Oh yea, when they finished, they parked my truck in the farthest spot away from the waiting room. The truck with handicapped plates.

i have been dealing with this company for over 20 years. bought a newer car over 1 year ago. it had new tires on it. i had to replace one of them about 3 months ago. one tire just got a nail in it nail that couldn't be fixed. service guy told me all the tires were showing wear and should be replaced. Really?? Told them only one. they had to order it. called to set up time to go in. it took them over 15 minutes to answer. called to see if i could come early day of apt. they never answered the phone. i went early .. they had a line, phones ringing without being answered only 2 people at the desk. Bathroom out of soap. get more help and answer the phones.!! until now, i thought this was the best place. not happy i was told i need all new tires. as i sit here. they are giving everyone breaks on the cost of tiresi have been here 20 years. they would not give me one.

Top notch tire shop. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, willing to go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. They price matched my tires and did an excellent job installing my tires.

Wow. This store made the experience of getting a new tire a pleasant one.
Team was friendly, polite, and welcoming.
I had put the spare on and threw the jack/other replacing equipment in the trunk. The team put everything back together for me. (not an easy process)
Absolutely blown away and impressed w the store.

They wanted to replace a perfectly good tire, when I said no the guy said he legally had to and wouldn't help unless. Went elsewhere and was told of no such law and paid less.

I made an appointment to get my tires rotated, I get there and they said, "oh, you are 5 min late so it will be like more than 2 hours before we can get to you because we are now going to treat you as a normal walk-in". I said forget it then. Making an appointment with them is pointless I suppose. The last time I made an appointment I arrived early, and it took them 45 min before they even brought my car into the bay. Their excuse this time is just ridiculous. This was the last time. I'm done. My company and my personal cars tires have all been bought through them. Too bad they can't manage their time and appointments that they end up losing another customer.

I had problems with my tire while driving on the highway to a relatives house. Luckily there was a Discount Tire Store in Grand Rapids. I was able to get in and out of the store in about 35 mins. The store honored the tire insurance I purchase from another location. I received a brand new tire, installed for free. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
