We have used Posies & Pastries on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed! On several instances they have gone above and beyond to help with last minute orders. Cannot say enough good things about their operation. They do great work, not to mention make wonderful cupcakes! My wife is vegan and they even provide some of those same tasty treats for vegans. I highly recommend.

The cake was very pricey, and ended up looking very unlike what we were expecting. It was obvious the details were skimped on. On top of that, they got my wedding date wrong. I was in the limo, heading to my reception, when I got a call telling me the cake never arrived. Needless to say, I was frantic. I got ahold of Jill, and she managed to get it there *just* in time. Overall, very dissatisfied. I even tried to work something out with Jill to resolve the problems, and she was totally unwilling, and full of excuses. It is simply bad management, and bad organization, to not only miss the wedding date, but to make a cake that is very unlike what your client is expecting. I sent detailed descriptions and photos, but she still managed to get it wrong. The only good thing was the cake tasted very nice. 2/5 stars.

The owner brought a cake in to the restaurant where I work for her husband's birthday dinner later that night. After staring at this beautiful cake all day, finally they came in for dinner and then it was cake time. Her husband was kind enough to leave two large slices of cake for myself and the other staff who had been ogling the cake all day to sample. Everyone agreed it was SPECTACULAR! The frosting was actually dairy-free and tasted so delicious! I ordered a cake for my direct-sales business and left a mini-catalog with the staff to see the font of my business name. I went to pick up my cake and it was bigger than I was expecting for the price I paid AND the best part is they decorated the cake to look exactly like one of the patterns of the products I sell. I had such a hard time getting up the courage to cut the cake it was so perfect but once I did cut it, it was PHENOMENAL!!! I ordered a 1/4 sheet marble cake with bavarian cream filling and whipped frosting. I had so many compliments on the cake that night, I will definitely be ordering from them again.

We ordered a wedding cake and when it arrived it was both crooked and was only about half the cake we needed. All guests got a slice of cake about 1/16 of an inch thick. They were practically see-through. I understand mistakes, but we have called and left numerous messages and even spoken to several employees and not one is getting back to us. They promise responses by the end of the week and now many weeks have flown by. One of the worst run arounds and lack of responsibility I have witnessed.

There have been several times when I needed an arrangement last minute, or have asked Jill at Posies to take care of flowers to send to family out of town. I am always impressed at the prompt turnaround. The last time I ordered a bouquet, Jill recalled the exact types of flowers and colors that the recipient would like. It was perfect--and ready for me that afternoon! When I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday earlier this year, she received the arrangement later that day in the Chicago suburbs. She called right away, expressing that she'd never received a more bright and cheerful bouquet. Jill took great care, making sure that my order was fulfilled exactly to my specifications.
