My go to when in town. Phil's has an inviting aura about it. Come in, get a drink and then sit down and order something from their menu that will sure to please the senses. You will leave full and satisfied. The staff are always warm and welcoming. I say order the Calamari, or walleye and you can't go wrong. Bartend makes a great Manhattan

Delicious! We were visiting Saugatuck for the week and decided to come in for dinner. The goat cheese appetizer was amazing, and the fish tacos were excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. Would definitely return!

Now this was just great - exactly where you want to have lunch after a morning delightedly flanning around the nooks and crannies of this funky Lake Michigan village where the kinder, gentler America still exists. The lake perch was delicious. Service and atmosphere top. Where the locals eat.

We love Phil’s. Best Fish Tacos too! Calamari appetizer is also a fave! Daily specials are always a hit! Staffthe best! This is a friendly atmosphere and they give you a heavy duty paper table clothe to draw and Color!

Always there and busy. 99% of time its open for you if hungry. Been going for 20 years. Try the gumbo or wings. Call ahead. Long wait if your an ass. And rightfully so.

Absolutely delicious food. Cocktails were strong and the wine was fantastic. We sat outside and I did suffer a massive mosquito attack to my feet, maybe there's something you could do to help reduce the numbers?? Otherwise, kudos to the chef, and many thanks to our server, who was amazing. We would definitely recommend, and return later this week With shoes.

The food and service here are amazing! We sat in the back at a booth and all ordered lunch. I loved my fish tacos and everyone at my table were sad they did not order them too. The fish was crunchy and had an amazing texture and flavor. I would order fried fish here again in a heart beat. I also ordered the side salad and a at $4 it was perfect. Everyone should order the I side salad. My father ordered the Cuban sandwich and said it was the best he ever had, hands down. He did have one yesterday for lunch in Douglas but this was so much better. My son got the grilled cheese and ate all of it, it was so good. My husband ordered the chicken wings and enjoyed the flavor but stated they were undercooked and too soft. I would suggest staying away from the chicken.

My one star deduction is for the layout of the restaurant. It is not wheelchair accessible and does not have changing stations in the bathroom. It is also inconvenient to have the table paper roll in the walkway since the server had to bother the neighboring table every time a table turned. Very inconvenient.

A Nostalgic atmosphere with great food.
A great selection of meals and sandwiches that are made with care. You can have fun coloring on the kraft paper "tableclothes" while you wait for your food.

The food here is amazing! Wait staff is great, plus you get to color on the table (it has paper on it!). Little bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it.

This place was delicious, cozy, and had decent service. The steak salad with warm goat cheese was especially good.

However, I felt disrespected as someone younger, like the server didn't believe my ID was real and that my husband and I wouldn't be good customers because we are young.

All around great place. The food is reliable, atmosphere pleasant, service quite good. I can't quite figure out what they want for seating etiquette. Sometimes they just say sit where ever, sometimes they say wait by door and we'll get you. Busy isn't a determining factor.
